The Golden Age
The arrival of the Golden Age is an infinitely fascinating idea, a Golden Hope beyond all perceivable dimensions, for, man is obviously tired and almost out suffering from the bedevilled tactics of the on-going Kali Age. In such a scenario, circumstance, what else other than the Divine Promise of the Lord Supreme Incarnate can soothe our agitating minds?!? Bhagawan said then, “Man is living at the dawn of a Golden Age, and he himself will determine the timing of the transition by his own acts and thoughts.’ Read on…
When the Golden Age dawns there will be harmony throughout the world and love will flow everywhere. All thoughts of hatred will disappear. Today you cannot visualise such a state because there is chaos everywhere, fighting, scheming, hatred, evil; all the negative emotions are in the ascendant. But eventually the change will come.
The arrival of Golden Age will be heralded by a new coming, as well as some upheavels, sufficient to uproot the evil that is so prevalent today.
Although the Golden Age lies in the future, man can prepare himself by turning to God and living his life in complete harmony with the Infinite. That is possible now, if you surrender your will to God and dedicate your life to Him. You will become His instrument and, in that capacity, you will find fulfilment through service to humanity.
Life is change, and change is taking place all the time. Only God never changes as God is the foundation of the universe and He holds everything in His hand.
When you become perfectly attuned to God, you become part of the Divine foundation; then nothing can affect you. At that point, the past, present and future merge into one, and that oneness is the omnipresent God.
The Golden Age is the creation of man, not of God. God created man in His own image. Within man is the Divine power locked away in his heart. But man, in his ignorance, has chosen to look elsewhere and has allowed his senses and his ego to take control of him instead of the Divine power which is there all the time.
The transition from that unhappy state to the state of bliss cannot be achieved overnight, but the changes have begun and the seeds are sown. Man is living at the dawn of a Golden Age and he himself will determine the timing of the transition by his own acts and thoughts.
Today the seeds are still in the ground, slowly germinating, as the teachings of the Lord begin to spread throughout the world and infiltrate the mind of man. Soon those seeds will begin to grow, and what emerges will brighten the world as the beauty of the Absolute Truth begins to reach so many people. It is a process which takes time and the new Golden Age will evolve gradually.
So you should live in hope, live in love, live in purity, purity of heart and thought and, above all, be true to your own Self. Let the Divinity within shine forth and become one of the great beacons to light up the world and hasten the arrival of the new Golden Age. It is there for some, those entertained souls who have already reached the state of God realisation. It is the awakened state which will lead to the new age.
The Golden Age – A Sacred Vision Of Love, Truth, And Divine Harmony
The Golden Age is not only a future period to be awaited, but a spiritual state to be created through pure thoughts, noble actions, and hearts filled with love. Many people imagine a golden age as a time of peace, prosperity, unity, and righteousness in the world. But such a time can begin only when human beings transform themselves from within.
The world changes when the heart changes. If people continue to live with anger, greed, jealousy, pride, and selfishness, no outer system can bring lasting peace. Real progress begins when individuals choose truth over falsehood, service over selfishness, forgiveness over hatred, and devotion over ego. Inner purity is the foundation of outer harmony.
The Golden Age teaches that spirituality must become practical in daily life. Prayer, bhajan, meditation, and worship are sacred, but they should lead to better conduct. If a person prays sincerely, speech should become gentler. If a person remembers God, actions should become more compassionate. If a person serves, the heart should become more humble.
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba often reminded humanity that love is the basis of all true transformation. His message, “Love All, Serve All; Help Ever, Hurt Never,” gives a simple and powerful path for creating peace in the world. When this teaching is practiced sincerely, homes become kinder, communities become stronger, and society becomes more peaceful.
The Golden Age becomes meaningful when unity replaces division. Human beings are often separated by religion, caste, language, nationality, wealth, and personal opinion. But the Divine lives in every heart. When we recognize this truth, hatred becomes weaker and compassion becomes stronger. Seeing God in all beings is the beginning of real civilization.
A golden world cannot be built only through wealth, technology, and comfort. These things may improve outer life, but they cannot replace character. Without truth, knowledge becomes dangerous. Without compassion, power becomes cruel. Without humility, success becomes pride. Therefore, human values must guide every form of progress.
The Golden Age also reminds us that children and youth must be guided with love and values. Education should not only prepare them to earn, but also to live nobly. Truth, right conduct, peace, love, and nonviolence should be planted early in young hearts. A generation built on values becomes a blessing to the future.
Selfless service is one of the strongest signs of a spiritually awakened age. Feeding the hungry, helping the sick, comforting the lonely, teaching children, protecting nature, and serving society without ego are all sacred actions. When service becomes natural, the world becomes less selfish and more compassionate.
The Golden Age finally teaches that peace must begin in the individual heart. A restless person spreads restlessness. An angry person spreads pain. A loving person spreads healing. Therefore, every person has a role in bringing divine harmony to the world. No act of kindness is too small when done with sincerity.
A devotee should not wait for the whole world to change before beginning. The change can start in one thought, one word, one action, and one relationship. Speak kindly today. Forgive someone today. Help someone today. Remember God today. These simple steps create sacred vibrations that slowly influence the environment around us.
Nature also must be respected in a truly noble age. The earth, water, air, trees, animals, and all living beings are gifts from God. Misusing creation is a sign of spiritual ignorance. Protecting nature, avoiding waste, and living with gratitude are also forms of worship. A loving heart cares for all creation.
In the end, The Golden Age is a call to awaken divine values within ourselves and express them through life. It asks us to live with love, truth, humility, service, unity, and devotion. When human hearts become pure and God-centered, the world itself begins to shine with peace, compassion, and divine grace.
