देवन आनि करी बिनतीतब छाँड़ि दियो रबि कष्ट निवारो।

बालि की त्रास कपीस बसैगिरि जात महाप्रभु पंथ निहारो।
चौंकि महा मुनि साप दियोतब चाहिय कौन बिचार बिचारो।
कै द्विज रूप लिवाय महाप्रभुसो तुम दास के सोक निवारो।

अंगद के सँग लेन गये सियखोज कपीस यह बैन उचारो।
जीवत ना बचिहौ हम सो जुबिना सुधि लाए इहाँ पगु धारो।

Verse 1
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Bāla samaya ravi bhakṣi liyo, taba tīnahuṁ loka bhayo andhiyāro। Tāhi soṁ trāsa bhayo jaga ko, yaha saṅkaṭ kāhu soṁ jāta na ṭāro। Devan āni karī binatī, taba chāṁḍi diyo ravi kaṣṭa nivāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥1॥
Meaning: In Your childhood, You swallowed the Sun, causing darkness to spread across all the three worlds. The entire universe became frightened, and no one could remove this crisis. The gods humbly prayed to You, and You released the Sun, ending everyone’s suffering. Who in this world does not know You as Hanuman, the remover of all obstacles?
Verse 2
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Bāli kī trāsa kapīsa basai, giri jāta Mahāprabhu pantha nihāro। Cauṅki mahā muni śāpa diyo, taba cāhiya kauna bicāra bicāro। Kai dvija rūpa livāya Mahāprabhu, so tuma dāsa ke śoka nivāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥2॥
Meaning: When Sugriva lived in fear of Bali on Mount Rishyamukha, You carefully watched the path of Lord Rama. Disguised as a humble Brahmin, You approached Him and brought about the divine meeting between Rama and Sugriva, removing the sorrow of Your devotee. Therefore, everyone knows You as Hanuman, the remover of all difficulties.
Verse 3
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Aṅgada ke saṅga lena gaye Siya khoja, kapīsa yaha baina ucāro। Jīvata nā bacihau hama so ju, binā sudhi lāe ihāṁ pagu dhāro। Heri thake taṭa sindhu sabai, taba lāya Siyā-sudhi prāṇa ubāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥3॥
Meaning: When the monkey army searched for Mother Sita, King Sugriva declared that none should return without news of Her. As everyone became exhausted at the seashore, You courageously crossed the ocean, found Mother Sita, and brought back the life-saving news. Thus, the world knows You as Hanuman, the remover of all distress.
Verse 4
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Rāvana trāsa daī Siya ko, saba rākṣasī soṁ kahi śoka nivāro। Tāhi samaya Hanumān Mahāprabhu, jāya mahā rajanīcara māro। Cāhata Sīya Aśoka soṁ āgi sudai, Prabhu mudrikā śoka nivāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥4॥
Meaning: When Mother Sita was tormented by Ravana and surrounded by demonesses in Ashoka Vatika, You arrived, defeated many mighty demons, and gave Lord Rama’s ring to Sita, removing Her grief and restoring Her hope. Therefore, everyone knows You as Hanuman, the destroyer of all sorrows.
Verse 5
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Bāna lagyo ura Lachimana ke, taba prāṇa taje suta Rāvana māro। Lai gṛha vaidya Suṣeṇa sameta, tabai giri Droṇa su vīra upāro। Āni Sajīvana hātha daī, taba Lachimana ke tuma prāṇa ubāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥5॥
Meaning: When Lakshmana was struck by a deadly arrow and lay unconscious, You brought the physician Sushena and then lifted the Dronagiri mountain to bring the Sanjeevani herb. By doing so, You restored Lakshmana’s life. Who does not know You as Hanuman, the remover of every calamity?

Sanskrit (Transliteration): Rāvana juddha ajāna kiyo, taba nāga kī phāṁsa sabai sira ḍāro। Śrī Raghunātha sameta sabai dala, moha bhayo yaha saṅkaṭa bhāro। Āni Khageśa tabai Hanumān ju, bandhana kāṭi su trāsa nivāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥6॥
Meaning: During the battle, when Ravana’s forces bound Lord Rama, Lakshmana, and the entire army with the serpent weapon, You brought Garuda, the king of birds, who freed everyone from the deadly bondage. Thus, the whole world recognizes You as Hanuman, the remover of all dangers.
Verse 7
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Bandhu sameta jabai Ahirāvana, lai Raghunātha patāla sidhāro। Debihiṁ pūji bhalī bidhi soṁ, bali deu sabai mili mantra bicāro। Jāya sahāya bhayo taba hī, Ahirāvana sainya sameta saṁhāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥7॥
Meaning: When Ahiravana carried Lord Rama and Lakshmana to the netherworld to sacrifice them, You reached there, destroyed Ahiravana along with his army, and safely rescued both brothers. Therefore, everyone knows You as Hanuman, the remover of every crisis.
Verse 8
Sanskrit (Transliteration): Kāja kiyo baḍa devan ke tuma, vīra Mahāprabhu dekhi bicāro। Kauna so saṅkaṭa mora garība ko, jo tumasoṁ nahi jāta hai ṭāro। Begi haro Hanumān Mahāprabhu, jo kucha saṅkaṭa hoya hamāro। Ko nahi jānata hai jaga meṁ, kapi Saṅkaṭamocana nāma tihāro॥8॥
Meaning: O mighty Hanuman, You have accomplished countless great tasks for the gods. Please reflect upon my humble condition—what difficulty is there that You cannot remove? O great Lord Hanuman, quickly free me from all my troubles. Surely, the entire world knows You as the remover of every obstacle.

Sanskrit (Transliteration): Lāla deha lālī lase, aru dhari lāla laṅgūra। Vajra deha dānava dalana, jaya jaya kapi sūra॥
Meaning: Your divine body shines with a beautiful crimson glow, and You wear a red loincloth. Your body is as strong as the thunderbolt, You are the destroyer of demons, and victory always belongs to You, O mighty and heroic Hanuman.
