tvama̍gnē ru̠drō asu̍rō ma̠hō di̠vaḥ । tvagṃ śardhō̠ māru̍ta-mpṛ̠kṣa ī̍śiṣē ।
tvaṃ vātai̍raru̠ṇai ryā̍si śaṅga̠yaḥ । tva-mpū̠ṣā vi̍dha̠taḥ pā̍si̠ nutmanā̎ḥ ।
dēvā̍ dē̠vēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । pratha̍mā dvi̠tīyē̍ṣu śrayaddhvam ।
dvitī̍yā-stṛ̠tīyē̍ṣu śrayaddhvam । tṛtī̍yā-śchatu̠rthēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।
cha̠tu̠rthāḥ pa̍ñcha̠mēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । pa̠ñcha̠mā-ṣṣa̠ṣṭhēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । 1
English Meaning
O Agni, You are Rudra, the mighty and powerful Lord of the great heaven. You command the hosts of the Maruts and possess supreme strength. You move with the swift reddish winds and bring auspiciousness. You are like Pūṣan, protecting and sustaining beings according to the cosmic order. O divine powers, establish yourselves within the successive divine hosts. May the first rest in the second, the second in the third, the third in the fourth, the fourth in the fifth, and the fifth in the sixth. 1
ṣa̠ṣṭhā-ssa̍pta̠mēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । sa̠pta̠mā a̍ṣṭa̠mēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।
a̠ṣṭa̠mā na̍va̠mēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । na̠va̠mā da̠śa̠mēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।
da̠śa̠mā ē̍kāda̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । ē̠ka̠da̠śā dvā̍da̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।
dvā̠da̠śā-stra̍yōda̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । tra̠yō̠da̠śā-ścha̍tu rdē̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।
cha̠tu̠rda̠śāḥ pa̍ñchada̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । pa̠ñcha̠da̠śā-ṣṣō̍ḍa̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । 2
English Meaning
May the sixth divine power establish itself in the seventh, the seventh in the eighth, the eighth in the ninth, the ninth in the tenth, the tenth in the eleventh, the eleventh in the twelfth, the twelfth in the thirteenth, the thirteenth in the fourteenth, the fourteenth in the fifteenth, and the fifteenth in the sixteenth. May each successive power become established within the next, forming an ordered and harmonious succession. 2

May the sixteenth become established in the seventeenth, the seventeenth in the eighteenth, the eighteenth in the nineteenth, the nineteenth in the twentieth, the twentieth in the twenty-first, the twenty-first in the twenty-second, the twenty-second in the twenty-third, the twenty-third in the twenty-fourth, the twenty-fourth in the twenty-fifth, and the twenty-fifth in the twenty-sixth. May these successive divine powers remain connected and established in one another, maintaining the continuity and harmony of the sacred order. 3

tri̠gṃ̠śā ē̍katri̠gṃ̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam । ē̠ka̠tri̠gṃ̠śā dvā̎tri̠gṃ̠śēṣu̍ śrayaddhvam ।

May the twenty-sixth become established in the twenty-seventh, the twenty-seventh in the twenty-eighth, the twenty-eighth in the twenty-ninth, the twenty-ninth in the thirtieth, the thirtieth in the thirty-first, the thirty-first in the thirty-second, and the thirty-second in the thirty-third. O divine powers, you are associated with the threefold and elevenfold divine orders. May you become higher and greater; may you proceed upon the higher path and possess superior strength and excellence. Whatever desire or purpose for which I offer this sacred oblation, may that purpose be fulfilled and prosper. May we become masters of wealth and abundance. Bhūr, Bhuvaḥ, Svaḥ—Svāhā. 4
ō-nnamō bhagavatē̍ rudrā̠ya ॥ tvamagnē tvamagnē śatarudrīyamityastrāya phaṭ ॥
English Meaning
Om. Salutations to the Blessed Lord Rudra. O Agni, O Agni, You are the Śatarudrīya, the sacred manifestation of the many forms of Rudra. May this divine power protect and remove all obstacles. Salutations to the sacred weapon, with the mantra “Phaṭ.”
