English Meaning
Brahman was known as the first and foremost reality, shining forth at the beginning. The radiant Divine Principle existed before creation. It is the foundation and support of existence, from which both the manifest and unmanifest realms arise.
nākē̍ supa̠rṇa mupa̠ya-tpata̍ntagṃ hṛ̠dā vēna̍ntō a̠bhyacha̍kṣa-tatvā ।
hira̍ṇyapakṣa̠ṃ varu̍ṇasya dū̠taṃ ya̠masya̠ yōnau̍ śaku̠na-mbhu̍ra̠ṇyum ।
English Meaning
The wise perceive through the heart the divine bird soaring in the highest realm. They behold the golden-winged messenger of Varuṇa, the radiant bird dwelling in the realm associated with Yama. This represents the subtle Divine Principle that transcends ordinary perception.
