Just as the Lord Himself is truth, reality, and existence, may all evils and calamities be destroyed by this truth for us.
Just as the Self experiences unity without any differentiation, so too, the divine energies, by their own mystic power, bear the ornaments, weapons, and symbols of the Lord.
By that same truth, may the all-knowing Lord Hari protect us always, in all places, and in all forms.

May Lord Narasimha protect us in all directions—up, down, and all around, both inside and outside. With His own brilliance, may He destroy all dangers and worldly fears, and consume all harmful energies.

Long ago, a Brahmin named Kaushika practiced this sacred knowledge (vidya). By holding it with yogic power, he overcame death and perils like a warrior of the desert.
Once, above him, a celestial vehicle (Vimana) of the Gandharva Lord appeared. A magnificent chariot, surrounded by women, went there, where the Brahmin (Kaushika) was present.
Suddenly, a celestial vehicle descended from the sky. It was marvelous, astonishing him by the words of the all-pervading one. After bathing in the eastern river Sarasvati, he proceeded to his own divine abode.
Whoever hears and upholds this at the proper time, is revered by all beings and freed from fear in every direction.
By acquiring this knowledge (vidya), the all-powerful, all-pervading Lord attained the three worlds’ prosperity (Lakshmi) and destroyed the demons on earth.
