Love and Peace are the soul’s natural inheritance…restore this abundance…release it from the core…allow it to reign the fore.
Beloved Bhagawan chose this period of Lent to perform an extraordinarily astounding leela…while enacting a Cosmic Drama with refined precision…absolutely in accordance to the script written by Him. The aftermath of this episode naturally leaves mankind, those that are aware, in a state of extreme shock and agony…giving way gradually to the acceptance of His Divine Will.
He also chose Easter day – 24th April 2011 to aloof Himself from the physical.
The Cherished One, having chosen the period of Lent for His stay in the SSSIHMS and His – this most baffling, unfathomable Drama culminating in the ‘withdrawal, disappearance’ of His Beatific Form…with a hidden ‘For the Time Being’ board…and His choosing to remain momentarily unseen as the scenes play on upon the Earthly Screen…for the past few years…hasn’t it linked us even more deeply, unequivocally, vocally, silently to this period…this Season of Lent…Sai Lent?
Isn’t the onus upon us all, His children…the children of Sai…to make proper use of this period He has lent us all….? Shouldn’t we enhance our study, our practice…our steady practice while inching towards graduation day, while honouring our enlistment in the classroom of the Universe…the University of Sai…where the ether becomes the expansive roof?
Come then, with steadfast intent and pristine passion…let us in unison pray –
Samastha Lokaah Sukhino Bhavantu…Samastha Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu…
May there be peace for all those that inhabit the globe through…may there be peace for all beings the Universe through…may this vibrant resonance…all personal and environmental negativity undo… that includes cleansing within me and you…
Samastha Lokaah Sukhino Bhavantu…Samastha Jeeva Sukhino Bhavantu…at the macro (lokaah) and micro (jeeva) level…may the Cosmos, Mother Earth, the World…each Heart that beats…know and feel peace, experience kindred harmony…that is sublime and true!
Peace arises out of the sentiment of Oneness! Intent, express, manifest…bestow this matchless largesse.
Love you…Peace be yours…and be you in Peace too…

A Silent Journey Toward Inner Peace
Some of the deepest transformations in life do not arrive with noise, applause, or public attention. They happen quietly, inside the heart, where no one else can see. A Silent moment of awareness can change a person more powerfully than a long speech, because truth often enters gently. It does not force itself upon us. It waits until the mind becomes calm enough to listen.
In today’s world, people are surrounded by constant sound. Phones ring, messages arrive, opinions move quickly, and the mind rarely gets time to rest. Everyone seems to be speaking, reacting, explaining, proving, or defending. But the soul does not grow in restlessness. It grows in stillness, reflection, and sincerity. A Silent pause can become a doorway to wisdom when we stop running outward and begin looking within.
Silence is not emptiness. It is a sacred space where the heart meets itself. When we sit quietly, we begin to notice thoughts that usually remain hidden beneath daily activity. We see our fears, attachments, anger, hopes, and longings more clearly. This self-seeing may not always be comfortable, but it is necessary. Without inner observation, we keep repeating the same mistakes and blaming the world for our unrest.
A Silent prayer does not always need words. Sometimes the heart simply bows in gratitude. Sometimes tears become prayer. Sometimes a deep breath, filled with surrender, says more than many sentences. The Divine understands the language of sincerity. A person may not know perfect chants or formal methods, yet if the heart is pure, even quiet remembrance becomes powerful.
Life teaches us that not every answer comes immediately. Some questions must be lived with patience. Some pain must be softened slowly. Some lessons must mature within us before we understand them. In such times, silence gives strength. It helps us avoid careless speech, rushed decisions, and unnecessary conflict. It teaches us to respond with awareness instead of reacting from hurt.
A Silent heart is not weak. It may look calm from outside, but it carries great inner strength. It does not need to argue with every opinion or win every conversation. It chooses peace where pride demands victory. It chooses forgiveness where ego demands punishment. It chooses understanding where anger wants distance. Such quiet strength is rare, because it requires discipline and humility.
Many people fear silence because it brings them close to themselves. They fill every space with noise so they do not have to face inner emptiness. But running away from oneself only increases restlessness. When a person learns to sit with their own heart, healing begins. Slowly, the mind becomes less scattered. The heart becomes lighter. The soul begins to feel at home.
A Silent act of kindness can also be deeply spiritual. Helping someone without announcing it, praying for someone without expecting credit, forgiving without drama, and serving without pride are beautiful forms of devotion. Goodness does not lose value because it is unseen. In fact, when love is free from display, it becomes even purer. The Divine sees what the world may never notice.
Silence also improves speech. A person who values quietness speaks more carefully. Their words become fewer, but more meaningful. They do not speak only to fill space; they speak to heal, guide, comfort, or clarify. This is a great lesson for daily life. Many relationships are hurt not because love is absent, but because words are uncontrolled. Silence gives the tongue time to become gentle.
In spiritual living, silence is closely connected with self-control. It helps us observe our desires before they control us. It helps us notice anger before it becomes harsh speech. It helps us see pride before it becomes arrogance. A Silent practice of self-awareness can purify ordinary actions and turn daily life into a path of growth.
This does not mean we must withdraw from people or responsibilities. True silence is not escape. It is inner balance. A person can live in a family, work honestly, serve society, and still carry quietness within. The mind may be busy with duties, but the heart can remain connected to peace. This is the beauty of spiritual maturity: living in the world without becoming lost in its noise.
Every day gives us opportunities to practice this sacred quality. Before speaking in anger, pause. Before judging someone, pause. Before complaining, pause. Before making an important decision, pause. These small pauses may look simple, but they can save us from regret and guide us toward wisdom.
A Silent life is not dull or empty. It is rich with awareness, gratitude, and love. It teaches us that the Divine is often felt most deeply when the mind becomes quiet. In that quietness, we realize that peace was never far away. It was waiting beneath the noise, within the heart, ready to guide us back to our truest self.
