"....The way to overcome fear is to constantly develop the spirit of self-surrender to God. Feel that whatever is to happen, will happen for the best. Have trust in God and in His Divine Name. Repeat the Name at all times. This is your unfailing refuge and strength. It will never fail you at any time.”

~ Swami Sivananda Saraswati

“Calmness is the highest strength a human can hold. When the mind becomes still, the world becomes clear. Do not chase peace outside, for it lives quietly within you. Every challenge is a teacher, every moment a mirror. Master your thoughts, and destiny will bow before you. In silence, the soul reveals truths no words can speak.”

~ Rishi Vashishta

“Rishi Valmiki reminds us that even a life lost in darkness can rise into light. Transformation begins the moment the heart turns toward truth. No past is powerful enough to limit a awakened soul. Through discipline and devotion, destiny can be rewritten. Wisdom grows when one dares to look within. From silence, Valmiki says, a new self is born.”

THE TRUE MEANING OF ' HINDU '

" HIN means "Hinsa" (Violence) and "du" means "dura" (distant); so HINDU means a person who is devoid of violence, who loves and sympathizes, who helps and serves - not one who hides and hits, harms and draws blood. The same sky is over everyone's head; the same earth supports everyone's feet; the same air enters everyone's lungs! The same God brought all forth, brings up all and brings about the end of this earthly career. Why then this inhuman role of foe and fanatic; of fight and feud? "

“….. …… The Divine grace is life’s greatest treasure. If there is self-surrender, there is inflow of grace. Lord’s grace will descend in proportion to the degree of surrender. The more the surrender, the more the grace. Supreme Love comes only by the grace of God. Grace of God will make you stick to the spiritual path.”

“Every breath that flows in the nose, Every beat that throbs in the heart, Every artery that pulsates in the body, Every thought that arises in the mind, Speaks to you that God is near. Every flower that wafts fragrance, Every fruit that attracts you, Every gentle breeze that blows, Every river that smoothly flows, Speaks of God and His mercy. The vast ocean with its powerful waves, The Mighty Himalayas with its glaciers, The bright Sun and stars in the wide sky, The lofty tree with its branches, The cool springs in the hills and dales, Tell me of His omnipotence. The melody of sweet music, The oration of powerful orators, The poems of reputed poets, The inventions of able scientists, The operations of dexterous surgeons, The utterances of holy saints, The thoughts of the Bhagavad Gita, The revelations of the Upanishads, Speak of God and His wisdom.”

“𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐔𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐈𝐒 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐁𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐇”
manuṣyatvaṃ mumukṣutvaṃ mahāpuruṣasaṃśrayaḥ ॥ These 3 are hard to come by and come only with God's grace - human birth, desire for liberation, company of the learned noble. 1. In this life, so much is taken for granted. What one does not realize is that just being born as a human being is a rare blessing in itself. Amongst the multitudes of billions of organisms (living beings), only a few are given the opportunity to be born as humans. It should be considered a privilege and utilized with utmost respect. 2. Even if one is born as a human, not everyone gets the desire or drive to seek liberation (mokSha). 'Liberation' referred here is not liberation from life, but liberation from suffering! It is said that pain is common but suffering is optional. Liberation can be achieved only due to an intense desire to be liberated from mundane afflictions. Very few of us are driven by this desire. 3. In spite of being inspired to attain mokṣa, not everyone is lucky enough to get the company and the proximity of the learned and enlightened. Only through learning from their experience, can one attain that state. No amount of toil will lead towards the goal of liberation, but the company of the wise and enlightened will. Those who are blessed with all the above 3 are truly fortunate! They should make use of every ounce of opportunity and count their blessings along the way.

Real Death By Gurudev Swami Sivananda
Not to study the Gita, Upanishads, daily, Not to remember God at all times, Not to serve Sadhus and Gurus, Is real death. Not to have equal vision, Not to have balanced mind, Not to have Atma-Drishti, Is real death. Not to have Brahma-Jnana, Not to have a large heart, Not to do charitable acts, Is real death. To identify oneself with the body, To forget one’s divine nature, To live aimlessly, Is real death. To eat, drink and be merry, To waste the time uselessly, To lose one’s honour and name, Is real death. To gamble and play cards, To read novels, drink and smoke, To gossip, cavil and scandalise, Is real death. To backbite, revile, carry tales, To speak ill of others, To cheat, falsify and dupe, Is real death. To earn money unlawfully, To outrage others’ women, To injure others, Is real death. To lead a sensual life, To waste vital energy, To have a lustful look, Is real death.
- Swami Sivananda Maharaj

𝐑𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐞𝐦𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 - 𝐄𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐬 𝐨𝐧 ‘𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍
“ The Yogi of perfect realization and enlightenment sees through his 'eye of wisdom' (Gyana Chakshush) the entire universe in his own Self (Atman) and regards everything else as his own Self and nothing else ||47. Nothing whatever exists other than the Atman; the tangible universe is verily Atman. As pots and jars are verily made of clay and cannot be said to be anything but clay, so too, to the enlightened soul and that is perceived is the Self ||48. A liberated one, endowed with Self-knowledge, gives up the traits of his previously explained equipments (Upadhis) and because of his nature of Sat-chit-ananda, he verily becomes Brahman like (the worm that grows to be) a wasp ||49. After crossing the ocean of delusion and killing the monsters of likes and dislikes, the Yogi who is united with peace dwells in the glory of his own realized Self; as an Atmaram ||50. The Self-abiding Jivan Mukta, relinquishing all his attachments to the illusory external happiness and satisfied with the bliss derived from the Atman, shines inwardly like a lamp placed inside a jar ||51. Though he lives in the conditionings (Upadhis), he, the contemplative one, remains ever unconcerned with anything or he may move about like the wind, perfectly unattached ||52. On the destruction of the Upadhis, the contemplative one is totally absorbed in ‘Vishnu’, the All-pervading Spirit, like water into water, space into space and light into light ||53. Realize That to be Brahman, the attainment of which leaves nothing more to be attained, the blessedness of which leaves no other blessing to be desired and the knowledge of which leaves nothing more to be known ||54. Realize that to be Brahman which, when seen, leaves nothing more to be seen, which having become one is not born again in this world and which, when knowing leaves nothing else to be known ||55. Realize that to be Brahman which is Existence Knowledge Bliss Absolute, which is Non-dual, Infinite, Eternal and One and which fills all the quarters, above and below and all that exists between ||56. Realize that to be Brahman which is Non-dual, Indivisible, One and Blissful and which is indicated in Vedanta as the Immutable Substratum, realized after the negation of all tangible objects ||57.

“I had a peep into the Beyond; This made my life sweet, The burden of samsara light. Time and space vanished. I swim in the ocean of Consciousness. Reason has left me. Intuition is beaming. The mind has melted. The senses are dissolved. I have poise and peace, Amidst incessant work. I am not shaken By severe tribulation. I live in the Supreme.”

How can chanting of Vedic Mantras help the world?
"Today a great deal of wickedness, troubles and turmoils are prevalent in the world because of the decline of the influence of the #Vedas. Water, air, food, noise are all tainted by pollution. We are forced to lead a polluted life. When the air we breathe is itself polluted, how are we to lead a pollution-free life? The environment and the elements should be pure to ensure purity of heart. The cause of this pollution lies nowhere else except in our own actions. Whatever words we utter, they spread to the entire atmosphere. We can purify the atmosphere of the world by chanting the Vedas and singing the glory of God. The Rishis in ancient times used to move to forests and chant the powerful Vedic #Mantras to purify the atmosphere of the whole world. These Vedas are neglected today. The people of this great country of #Bharat have not understood the infinite potency of the Vedas. It is a pity they have not tasted the sweetness of the Vedas. The Vedas should be cherished for sublimating life and not to earn a living."
