The first quality every member of the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation should have is firm faith in God. This faith must be based on the awareness that God is Omnipresent. The Divine pervades everything in the Universe. This may not be understood by everyone. Some may not agree that the Divine is Omnipresent. But whether they accept this fact or not, the truth is, evidence of the presence of God can be found wherever one turns.

Is it possible for this boundless creation to be brought into existence by man, if there had been no Divine Principle behind it? For instance, fire is latent in the branches of a tree and in the tree itself. If the branches rub against each other, they may generate a fire which could burn down the tree, branches and all. Which is the power that filled the branches with the latent fire and ensured at the same time that they did not destroy themselves by releasing that fire? Is man responsible for this? Take, again, the example of the process by which the food that we take is converted into blood. Is this the invention of any man?

It is the immanent, all-pervasive power of the Divine that reveals Itself in numerous ways. We see flowers of all kinds. Men are able to make plastic flowers of the same kind. But can any one fill the plastic flowers with the native fragrance that is got from natural flowers? This is possible only by the Divine. There is sweet water inside a tender coconut. Who poured the water inside the coconut? Was it the work of any man? No. Only the Divine can do such a thing.

Examples such as these should serve to confirm your faith in the Divine. No one can probe the mystery of the power of the Divine or grasp its infinite magnitude. If members of the Sathya Sai Organisation have no faith in the Divine, there is no purpose in their remaining in the organisation. Such persons need not join the organisation or continue in it. It is with faith that one should take up social service. Society is our primary concern. The Divine is manifest in society.

108 Quotations on Faith in God – A Sacred Guide to Trust, Courage, and Divine Grace

108 Quotations on Faith in God is a beautiful spiritual theme that reminds us of the power of trust, surrender, and devotion in human life. Faith is not only a belief spoken by the lips; it is a strength carried in the heart. When life becomes uncertain, faith gives courage. When the mind becomes restless, faith gives peace. When the path becomes dark, faith becomes the inner lamp that guides the soul forward.

In daily life, people often depend on visible support. They trust money, people, plans, health, and personal strength. These things have value, but they can change at any time. 108 Quotations on Faith in God teaches that the deepest support comes from divine grace. A person who trusts God does not become free from all problems, but receives the strength to face every problem with patience and hope.

Faith in God does not mean doing nothing and waiting for miracles. True faith works together with sincere effort. A devotee must do their duty honestly, speak truthfully, serve others, and live with discipline. After doing one’s best, the result should be offered to the Divine. 108 Quotations on Faith in God reminds us that effort without faith creates anxiety, and faith without effort becomes weakness. When both are joined, life becomes balanced.

There are moments when prayers seem unanswered. The heart may ask why delays happen and why difficulties continue. During such times, faith is tested. A weak faith depends only on immediate results, but strong faith trusts divine timing. 108 Quotations on Faith in God teaches that what appears as delay may be preparation, what appears as rejection may be protection, and what appears as silence may be hidden guidance.

Faith also gives emotional strength. Many people carry pain that others cannot understand. They may smile outside but feel broken inside. In such moments, remembering God becomes a shelter. The devotee feels that even if the world does not fully understand, the Divine knows every tear, every fear, and every silent prayer. This feeling brings deep comfort.

108 Quotations on Faith in God also reminds us that faith should reflect in character. If someone truly trusts God, they should not live with hatred, dishonesty, pride, and cruelty. Faith should make a person kinder, humbler, more forgiving, and more service-minded. A pure life is the strongest proof of devotion. Words of faith become meaningful only when actions also carry goodness.

The number 108 has deep spiritual importance in Indian tradition. It often represents completeness, sacred repetition, and spiritual focus. In this sense, 108 Quotations on Faith in God can be seen as a garland of divine thoughts, where each quotation becomes a pearl of wisdom. Each thought can inspire the heart to remain steady in prayer, service, and surrender.

Faith becomes especially important during fear. The future is unknown, and the mind often imagines many difficulties. But faith says, “I am not alone.” It reminds the devotee that God is present in every step, every breath, and every hidden turn of life. This trust does not remove responsibility; it removes unnecessary panic. The heart learns to walk calmly, even when the road is unclear.

A person with faith also learns gratitude. Instead of only asking for more, the heart begins to recognize what has already been given. Breath, food, family, protection, opportunities, lessons, and inner strength are all blessings. 108 Quotations on Faith in God teaches that gratitude deepens faith because it helps us see the grace already working in our lives.

Faith is not blind stubbornness. It is a deep confidence that divine wisdom is greater than human understanding. Sometimes life gives what we want, and sometimes it gives what we need. A devotee may not understand everything immediately, but still trusts that God’s plan carries meaning. This trust gives peace even during uncertainty.

In the end, 108 Quotations on Faith in God is a sacred reminder that faith is the soul’s strength. It turns fear into courage, sorrow into prayer, and waiting into patience. It teaches us to live with honesty, serve with love, forgive with humility, and surrender with trust. When faith becomes steady, life no longer feels empty or unsupported.

A sincere seeker who reflects on 108 Quotations on Faith in God slowly becomes calmer, stronger, and more peaceful. The mind becomes less restless, the heart becomes more grateful, and daily life becomes more connected with divine grace. This is the blessing of faith – it turns ordinary living into a sacred journey guided by God’s unseen hand.
