The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai Radiates – ‘God Is’
Spiritual guidance of Bhagwan Shri Sathya Sai Baba photo
Formless Absolute Supreme descended in golden orange encapsulating Sathya Dharma Santhi Prema Ahima, paving the way for Cosmic Oneness…As the the beauty of His majestic orange continues to elude the blurred human vision, Prasanthi Nilayam, His chosen Abode is gradually meandering towards its rightful position on the world stage, as a beacon of hope, promising a United World. Reflecting on its glory and the grandeur of Bhagawan’s Avatarhood, commemorating the day He chose to move on from the physical terrain, Sri Jullie Chaudhuri writes, The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai Radiates – ‘God Is’ reminding one and all that, the era of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai has precious more in store.
Love is My form, Truth is My breath, Bliss is My food; My life is My message, Expansion is My life, No season for Love, No reason for Love; No Birth; No death… If anyone asks you to tell about Sai Baba, sing this song. It will convey the whole message. Tell them, Love is His form and His life is His message. Develop the feeling of brotherhood of man and fatherhood of God.” – Baba
Prasanthi Nilayam, is gradually meandering towards its rightful position on the world stage – as the most sacrosanct place upon the globe – glowing, radiating and emitting that abundance of peace, love, harmony and oneness that is the atypical characteristic and timeless benediction in the eternal sphere of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Nestling in the arms of Puttaparthi, the conspicuously holy ‘Janma Bhoomi’ or birth place of Beloved Bhagawan, Prasanthi Nilayam is that rare jewel amongst several spiritual destinations that brings solace, succor and sanctity to millions.
What exactly is it that sets Prasanthi Nilayam and Puttaparthi apart and makes it a blazing beacon, a veritable ‘all the time’ brilliantly lit lighthouse? To each soul a different perspective, a singular significance, an extraordinary pull, an unknown attraction, a ‘je ne sais quoi’, a tug at the heart-strings, a déjà vu, a deep knowing, an intense ‘I know You through lifetimes, I belong to You.”
Is it the fact that not only did the Divine select this precious ground for an Advent, but that ethereal appeal and honour of rarity seldom bestowed upon any one place – He chose to live, to continue to spread His mission from the very region where He willed Himself to be born? Can we even begin to imagine how pure, potent and extremely revitalized Puttaparthi is?
What a boon and a blessing for the blessed ones that do gather here – to tread the same earth, breathe in the same air as the source of all Avatars?
So, what else sets Prasanthi Nilayam apart from other places of worship where thousands regularly assemble?
Is it that amazing phenomenon – that the vast multitudes that do congregate and set foot upon these hallowed precincts, this one solitary place, at any given time, represent those countless souls that owe their allegiance to different faiths?
Is it that distinct, diverse and exceptionally dynamic feature, an attribute exclusively pertaining to the domain of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai, for no other Avatar has made Himself so freely available to each and everyone…en masse – to the peasant; the lay person; the bourgeoisie; the business tycoons; the elite; men, women, children; the physically challenged; the mentally and emotionally wrecked; the lonely and despairing ones, the happy and the joyful too; the aggressive and the meek; the artist, the sportsperson, the politician, Kings, Maharanis, and Heads of States; sages, renunciates and seekers of truth; reptiles, birds and animals; plants, trees and insentient beings too…meting out the same loving treatment to all, sans barriers and boundaries of any kind, as would a Parent to a child? That remarkably pure, unsullied, boundless, limitlessly selfless love – noble and true; compassion, protection and guidance always within reach and experienced ‘simultaneously’ by different people in different places at different times!
Perhaps it is the declaration that states -“All are One; be alike to everyone.”? Or is it the language that is propagated here by the Master – the language of the heart, the recognition of love as the only religion and the acceptance of humanity as the sole caste beyond any distinction? Or else, is it that unique feature that acts like a magnet, that goes further than the simple fulfilment of mere material desires and physical ailments to that which ails the soul, that search for the unanswered elusive truth, the individual purpose, role and goal? Or is it the axiomatic truth that Beloved Bhagawan’s unconditional love is that Mighty Ocean that caresses and effectuates the absolute attainment of the yearning of many a lonely shore; that Supreme River that quenches the spiritual thirst and resuscitates countless arid, acidic and acrid hearts, minds and tongues? Is it probably that evergreen message that His advent does perennially live out and proclaim – “I am in every heart, that is the temple where I dwell”; that goes on to gently yet firmly exhort one and all to put love into service and realize the goal of life?
Simple yet profound words that over and over again exclaim – Love All, Serve All; Help Ever, Hurt Never, ensuring and setting an example with inestimable magnanimous acts of altruistic value, vis-a-vis institutions and projects that provide excellent health care, education and water supply, besides immeasurable other humane activities, at no cost. Where else can one find the presence of sincere selfless service, earnest love in action, noble endeavours…and the absence of cash counters?
The answer lies in each one of us as does that most elevated destiny. Since each individual being represents a temple within whom Bhagawan does reside, it is up to each one of us to create and sustain a Golden Prasanthi Nilayam wherever we may live or be; a harmonious co-existence, a cosmic brotherhood.
We owe this to the Self within – to the Beloved One.
After having seen that Most Dear form…do I want to set my eyes on anything else? After having heard that divine mellow voice…do these ears need hear any other sound? After having known that heavenly fragrance what else is there to breathe? What can be more sublime, what more is there to gain, what greater boon than the sight of this loving, living God?
The Formless Absolute chose an Enchanting Form, taking on hues of orange-gold, encapsulating Sathya, Dharma, Santhi, Prema, Ahimsa; ennobling, engaging, enriching, endearing, enhancing, elevating and enlightening humanity to hitherto unscaled dimensions.
Every particle that forms Sai Kulwant Hall echoes an immense gratitude at the honour endowed upon it by the Lord of the Universe, as He encircled the premises at every Darshan, energising the gathering along with each particle of dust. And, as He so did encircle Sai Kulwant Hall, He ensured that His boundless aura – that magnificent cascade of pink hues, did enfold, ensconce, enwrap each and every atom, not only within this hallowed hall, but over the surrounding hills, embracing distant horizons through.
None can gauge, fathom or evaluate what we receive from Beloved Bhagawan, just like Him this too remains an eternal enigma, an unknown mystery, an unfathomable puzzle. Though the onus remains with us to reflect His life and message of innate compassion and selflessly serve all life forms through every moment that time and destiny decidedly sends our way. Let us imbibe what He once did pronounce that holds true for all times – “On this Guru Poornima day I do not intend to give you any Ashtakshari (eight letter) or Panchaakshari (five-letter) mantra based on any particular deity’s name. Nor am I enjoining you to study any Upanishad, or the Gita or the Brahma Sutras. There is a simple five-letter pronouncement. “God is.” (‘Devudunnaadu’-Telugu). Make this your sheet-anchor. If you go on reciting it, thinking over it, acting up to it and conveying it to others, immersing yourself in the bliss of this experience, you will be making the greatest contribution to the welfare of the world. (Swami recited a poem on the glories of God’s creation to prove “Devudunnaadu”).
Consider this mantra as the message for this Guru Poornima and proclaim it in all circumstances and at all places with all the conviction and strength you can command. The world can be turned into an earthly paradise if you strengthen your faith in God and demonstrate it in your actions. You must have the courage and determination to face any kind of problems and difficulties. By propagating this mantra you can promote the love of God and the fear of sin among the people. The mantra “God is” can be more powerful than a mantra based on any particular deity’s name. – (Sathya Sai Speaks, Volume 19; Chapter 14: The Five-Letter Mantra)
And so, ‘God is’ and we are His, and as such He is enthroned and enshrined in every heart and as His children we remain enclosed in His arms eternally. Who can evaluate, appreciate or grasp His ways? It remains beyond the capacity of a finite mortal mind and so let Beloved Bhagawan’s sweet words ring, in the core of our being, a lesson in faith and trust, for His delays are never His denials – “Whatever I do it is for you, not for Me. For what is it that can be called Mine? Only You.”
What can be said about the Everlasting One, the Beloved One, the Only One, Whose every Darshan has an eternally everlasting effect, resounding and resonating the ether through, touching our very core? Suffice to say, the era of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai has precious more in store.

The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai – A Sacred Circle of Love
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai is a beautiful reflection of divine motherhood, endless compassion, and the protective grace that surrounds every sincere heart. A mother’s love is already one of the purest forms of affection known to humanity, but when that motherly love is connected with the Divine, it becomes limitless. It does not depend on distance, time, language, or circumstance. It simply holds, heals, guides, and blesses.
In ordinary life, people often search for security in relationships, wealth, success, and social acceptance. Yet all these can change. People may misunderstand us, situations may turn difficult, and the mind may become restless. But divine motherly love remains steady. It is like a silent shelter where the soul can rest when the world becomes too heavy.
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai reminds us that divine love is not narrow or selective. A true mother does not love only the perfect child. She loves the weak child, the confused child, the struggling child, and even the child who forgets her for a time. In the same way, Mother Sai’s compassion reaches every devotee, not because we are flawless, but because divine love sees the hidden purity within us.
This sacred sphere can be understood as a circle of grace. A circle has no beginning and no end. It surrounds completely. When a devotee feels lost, this grace protects. When the heart is wounded, it comforts. When the mind is filled with doubt, it gives quiet strength. Such love may not always appear as a dramatic miracle, but it works gently within life’s smallest moments.
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai also teaches that the Divine is not only a distant power to be feared or admired. The Divine can also be felt as a tender mother who listens to unspoken prayers. Many pains are never fully explained to others. Some tears remain hidden, some fears remain silent, and some struggles are carried alone. But divine motherhood understands even what words cannot express.
A mother’s touch can calm a child before any explanation is given. In the same way, the remembrance of Mother Sai can bring peace even when problems are not yet solved. The situation may remain the same outside, but the heart begins to feel supported from within. This is one of the sweetest forms of grace: not always changing the world immediately, but changing the strength with which we face it.
The path of devotion becomes softer when we see God as mother. Fear slowly reduces, and love becomes natural. We do not approach the Divine only with formality; we approach with trust. We can admit our weakness, confess our mistakes, and place our worries at the feet of Mother Sai without pretending to be strong. Such honesty makes prayer real.
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai invites us to live with the same tenderness we seek from the Divine. If we receive compassion, we must learn to give compassion. If we feel forgiven, we must learn to forgive. If we are protected by grace, we must protect those who are weak, lonely, or helpless. Devotion becomes meaningful only when it flows into conduct.
This message is deeply practical. A loving word to someone in pain, a patient response during anger, a meal shared with the hungry, or a silent prayer for another person can all become expressions of divine motherhood. We do not need great wealth or status to serve. A heart filled with love can become an instrument of comfort wherever it stands.
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai also reminds us that no one is truly outside divine care. A person may feel unworthy because of mistakes, failures, or past weaknesses, but a motherly heart does not abandon easily. It corrects, guides, and waits with patience. Divine correction may sometimes come through difficulty, but its purpose is never cruelty. It is purification, protection, and awakening.
In life, every devotee passes through seasons of joy and sorrow. There are times when faith feels strong and times when the heart feels dry. But the sphere of divine love continues to surround us even when we do not feel it clearly. Clouds may hide the sun, but they cannot destroy its light. In the same way, doubt may hide grace for a while, but grace remains present.
The best way to honor this love is to purify our own heart. We should reduce harshness, control ego, speak truth, serve humbly, and remember God with gratitude. A mother is happiest when her child becomes noble. Similarly, Mother Sai’s grace is truly received when we become kinder, more disciplined, more sincere, and more useful to others.
The Eternal Sphere Of Beloved Mother Sai is finally a call to rest in divine love and reflect it in daily life. It tells us that we are held by a compassion greater than human understanding. When we live with faith, service, and humility, this sacred circle of grace becomes alive within us. Then every thought becomes softer, every action becomes purer, and every moment becomes a quiet offering at the feet of Beloved Mother Sai.
