The Unity Of God’s Way
Planet Earth had the rarest of the privileges, having had the Sampoorna Avatar, Who can be easily termed as ‘Sarva Karana Karanam’, walking the earth, showering the most gracious Divine blessings upon humanity and the creation at large. Bhagawan has delivered messages on the True Truth in multifarious ways for the man to listen and amend. How many of us has listened to Him with rapt attention, and how many have made the amends to follow His messages. A rare message from Bhagawan through Lucas Ralli, as recorded in the first of the series of 5 books, Sai Messages For You And Me. (edited version). Sai Messages For You & Me was originally published by the Sri Sathya Sai Books & Publications Trust, as guided and directed by Bhagawan through Prof N. Kasturi.
Co-operation results from an expanding heart. Where there is none, it is due to a failure to open the heart, and it means that the animal instincts remain in the ascendant. Thus, the ego remains strong, and with it desire. Against such a background, the will to co-operate does not come easily. No one seems to have reached a full understanding of My message and a few people reflect the love which I have showered upon them. They are separated, isolated, and they try to continue their own lives along the same old lines, but this will lead them nowhere. Even those who visit Me are little better. They come, they go, but what happens? They simply return to their old habits and their old way of life and make no real effort to put My teachings into practice.
“The day of awakening is not far away and when it comes there will be a true revelation of the true power of God, a manifestation of the omnipresence of The Lord. This will be the signal for a great move forward and the weeding out of those who are not ready to accept the challenge of the moment… It will be just so. Mark My words. But few will listen, very few.
After the storm there will be completely different beginning and the atmosphere will be completely different. It will be like a new age, the age of love, harmony and cooperation replacing the age of war, fighting, hatred, jealous, greed and all the negative aspects of life. Everyone should prepare NOW for this change, for I promise you that it will come, and only those who are ready will survive.
I have given the warning. I have given My message a thousand times and no one who hears My words can proclaim ignorance. Don’t delay action to put right your own lifestyle and to change it to the way of God. There is no other way.”
The Unity Of God’s Way – A Sacred Path Of Love, Truth, And Divine Harmony
The Unity Of God’s Way is a beautiful spiritual truth that reminds us that the Divine leads all sincere hearts toward the same goal: love, purity, peace, and realization of the inner Self. Human beings may follow different paths, worship through different names, and practice different traditions, but the highest purpose of every true path is to bring the soul closer to God.
In the world, people often become divided by religion, language, culture, caste, country, and personal belief. These differences may have outer value, but they should never create hatred. When the heart becomes narrow, even religion can become a cause of separation. When the heart becomes broad, every sincere prayer becomes sacred.
The Unity Of God’s Way teaches that God does not belong to one group alone. The Lord is the source of all life, all love, and all truth. Just as many rivers flow toward the same ocean, many spiritual paths can lead toward the same Divine when followed with humility, sincerity, and purity of conduct.
Bhagavan Sri Sathya Sai Baba often taught that all religions are different roads leading to the same destination. He honored every sincere form of worship and reminded humanity that love is the essence of all faiths. If religion does not make a person more loving, truthful, and compassionate, its deeper meaning has not been understood.
The unity of the divine path does not mean that all forms and practices must become the same. Diversity is part of creation’s beauty. One devotee may sing bhajans, another may pray silently, another may serve the poor, and another may meditate deeply. When the heart is pure, each sincere action becomes an offering to God.
The Unity Of God’s Way becomes meaningful when we practice respect. We do not need to criticize another person’s path to prove our own devotion. True faith is not insecure. A devotee who truly loves God can respect the devotion of others. Such respect brings harmony in families, communities, and society.
The same divine values appear again and again in every noble tradition: truth, compassion, self-control, forgiveness, humility, service, and love. These values are not limited by time or place. They are universal. A person who lives by them becomes a blessing to the world, whatever name of God he may repeat.
Spiritual unity begins within the individual. If our thoughts, words, and actions are divided, peace becomes difficult. We may speak of love but think with jealousy. We may speak of truth but act with dishonesty. The first harmony must be created inside ourselves through purity of thought, word, and deed.
The Unity Of God’s Way also reminds us that service is a universal language. Feeding the hungry, helping the sick, comforting the sad, guiding children, and protecting nature are understood by all hearts. Service removes pride and shows that God is present in every being. When we serve others, we worship the Divine in living form.
Prayer, meditation, namasmarana, and seva help us experience this unity. Prayer opens the heart to grace. Meditation quiets the mind. Repetition of the divine name keeps remembrance alive. Selfless service expands love beyond personal boundaries. Together, these practices make spiritual life practical and balanced.
The Unity Of God’s Way finally teaches that the real enemy is not another religion or another person, but ego, hatred, ignorance, and selfishness within us. When these are reduced, love naturally grows. The heart begins to see all beings as children of the same Divine, and life becomes more peaceful.
A devotee should therefore become an instrument of harmony. Instead of spreading argument, he should spread understanding. Instead of judging quickly, he should listen with patience. Instead of hurting through words, he should heal through kindness. This is how the message of God becomes alive in daily life.
In the end, The Unity Of God’s Way is a call to rise above narrowness and live in divine love. It asks us to see unity behind diversity, God behind every form, and sacred purpose behind every sincere path. When we live with respect, humility, service, and compassion, life becomes blessed with peace and divine grace.
