Ram Stuti Mantra (राम स्तुति अर्थ सहित)

श्रीरामचंद्र कृपालु भजु मन हरण भव भय दारुणम्। नवकंजलोचन, कंज-मुख कर-कंज पद-कंजारुणम्।।

श्री रामचन्द्र जो दया और करुणा के प्रतीक हैं ऐसे श्री राम को मेरा हृदय हर क्षण श्रद्धा करता है। श्री राम सभी के मन से भय दूर करके जन्म और मृत्यु की आशंका को कम करते हैं। उनकी आंखें नए खिले कमल के फूलों जैसी हैं, जबकि उनके हाथ, चेहरे और पैर लाल कमल की सुंदरता बिखेरते हैं।

हे मन! श्रीरामचंद्र कृपालु का भजन करो, जो संसार के भय और दु:ख को हरने वाले हैं।
उनकी आँखें नवकमल जैसी, मुख कमल के समान, हाथ कमल और पदकमल के समान लालिमा वाले हैं।

O mind, worship Lord Shri Ramachandra, the merciful one who destroys the terrible fear of worldly existence.
His eyes are like fresh lotuses, His face like a lotus, His hands like lotuses, and His feet glow like red lotuses.

कंदर्प अगणित अमित छबि, नवनील-नीरद-सुंदरम्। पटपीत मानहु तड़ित रुचि-शुचि नौमि जनक सुता-वरम्।।

उनका दिव्य रूप अनगिनत कामदेवों के आकर्षण से भी बढ़कर है। उसके शरीर का रंग घने, नवगठित नीले बादल को प्रतिबिंबित करता है, जो बिजली की तरह चमकता है। जनक पुत्री माता सीता के पति श्री राम, चाहने वालों के मित्र हैं, संसार के लिए प्रकाश पुंज हैं।

उनका रूप अनंत और असीमित रूप-सौंदर्य वाला है, नव-नील कमल और नीरद (वायु देव) के समान सुंदर।
उनका पीतवर्ण (पीले रंग का) शरीर बिजली जैसी तेजस्विता और शुद्धता लिए हुए है। मैं जनक की पुत्री (सीता) के वर्य श्रीराम का ध्यान करता हूँ।

His form is countless and immeasurably beautiful, resembling fresh blue lotuses and the beauty of the clouds.
His golden-hued body shines like lightning in brilliance and purity. I meditate on Shri Ram, the beloved of Janaki (Sita).

भजु दीनबंधु दिनेश दानव दैत्य वंश-निकंदनम्। रघुनंद आनंदकंद कौशलचंद दशरथ-नंदनम्।।

मैं प्रभु श्री का भजन करता हूँ वो दीनों पर दया करते हैं राक्षसों और उनके कुलों को पराजित करते हैं, रघु वंश के प्रिय पुत्र, और आनंद के दाता – माता कौशल्या के पुत्र और राजा दशरथ के नंदलाल हैं।

हे मन! उस दीनबंधु, दिनेश (दीनों के नेता) और दैत्य-दानव वंश के संहारक श्रीराम का भजन करो।
वह रघुनंदन, आनंदकंद, कौशलचंद और दशरथ के पुत्र हैं।

O mind, worship the compassionate Lord, the leader of the downtrodden, the destroyer of demon lineages.
He is the delight of the Raghu dynasty, the source of bliss, the moon among the Koshalas, and the son of King Dasharatha.

सिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक चारु उदार अंग विभूषणम्। आजानुभुज शर-चाप-धर संग्राम-जित-खर-दूषणम्।।

राजसी मुकुट पहने, कानों में बालियां लगाए और माथे पर तिलक लगाए श्री राम रत्नजड़ित रत्नों से सुशोभित हैं। अपनी दोनों शक्तिशाली भुजाओं में, वह धनुष और बाण रखते हैं, जो युद्ध में खर-दूषण पर विजय प्राप्त करते हैं।

उनके सिर पर मुकुट, कानों में कुण्डल, तिलक सुशोभित और शरीर अंगों में सुंदर आभूषण हैं।
उनके बाजुओं में धनुष और बाण हैं, और वे युद्ध में दुष्टों और राक्षसों को हराने वाले विजेता हैं।

On His head is a crown, earrings in His ears, a beautiful tilak, and ornaments adorning His noble body.
His arms bear bow and arrows, and He is the conqueror of demons and evil forces in battle.

इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर शेष-मुनि-मन-रंजनम्। मम हृदय कंज निवास कुरु कामादि-खल-दल-गंजनम्।।

तुलसीदास जी पुष्टि करते हैं कि श्री राम भगवान शिव, शेषनाग और ऋषियों के हृदय को प्रसन्न करते हैं। हे श्री राम! आप कमल के फूल की तरह मेरे दिल में निवास करते हैं, मेरे मन से इच्छा और वासना जैसी सभी बुराइयों को दूर करते हैं।

इस प्रकार तुलसीदास कहते हैं, जो शंकर और शेष मुनि के हृदय को आनंदित करने वाले हैं।
हे श्रीराम! मेरे हृदय में निवास करो और काम, क्रोध, लोभ जैसे बुरे गुणों का विनाश करो।

Thus says Tulsidas, who delights the minds of Shankar and the sage Shesha.
O Shri Ram, please dwell in my heart and destroy the cluster of vices like lust, anger, and greed.
