Mahavirji Temple

It is visited by millions of Jain and Hindu devotees each year.

Architecture of the Temple

Built in Nagara-style architecture, the temple blends exquisite white marble and red sandstone, featuring high pinnacles and a vast fortified enclosure.
A 52‑ft Manastambha (pillar of pride) topped with four Tirthankara icons greets devotees at the entrance.
Inside the Garbhagriha, the main idol sits in Padmasana posture, flanked by statues of Tirthankaras like Pushpadant and Adinath. Walls are adorned with 16 mythological carvings and golden murals.
The temple complex includes a katla (courtyard of dharamshalas), lodging and dining facilities for pilgrims.
