Ranakpur Temple

It forms part of the Gorwad Panch Tirth, one of five sacred pilgrimage sites in Jainism.






Architecture of the Temple

Built in Māru‑Gurjara style, the temple is fully made of white marble, covering around 48,000 sq ft.
Features 1,444 intricately carved pillars, each unique—forming 29 halls, 80 domes, and multiple mandapas (courtyards) and shrines.
The Chaturmukha (four-faced) main temple houses the adorned idol of Adinatha facing all four directions.
