Description

“Oh mind! Do not ask. Do not ask. As you go on asking it keeps getting delayed. If you don’t ask it will be done faster Didn’t Sri Rama fulfill the desire of Sabari ( an old aged devotee) without being asked Even without being asked did Rama not go to Jatayu and liberate him from this life! Did Sabari ask? Did Jatayu desire? If our heart calls Him with pure Love He Himself comes running to us. We need not explicitly ask. This is the proof for God’s Love. This is the value of God’s Love

Description

Embodiment’s of Love! The hall-mark of love is Thyaga (selfless sacrifice). Love seeks nothing from anyone. It bears no ill-will towards anyone. It is utterly selfless and pure. Failing to understand the true nature of love, man yearns for it in various ways. Love has to be cherished with feelings of selflessness and sacrifice. In what is deemed as love in the world– whether it be maternal love, brotherly love, or friendship—there is an element of selfishness. Only God’s love is totally free from the taint of selfishness. Divine love reaches out even to the remotest being. It brings together those who are separate. It raises man from animality to divinity. It transforms gradually all forms of worldly love to Divine love. To experience this Divine love, men must be prepared to give up selfishness and self-interest. They must develop purity and steadfastness. With firm faith in the Divine, they must foster the love of God regardless of all obstacles and ordeals.

Description

Seva or service is like a sharp edged knife or a sword. Such a knife (sword) is immensely useful when in the hands of an able person. On the other hand such a knife (sword) causes great danger and harm when it falls into the hands of a person who does not know how to use it. How should one make use of a knife (sword)? For what tasks should it be used? How should one hold the knife or sword? One needs to have the knowledge of such basic things first and foremost.

Having determined to do a task, Hold on till it is finished. Having thought about something, Don’t go back till its realised. Having desired something, Persevere till it’s fulfilled. Having asked for something, Don’t give up till it’s given!! Notwithstanding your perseverance, Either he must succumb, Or you should persevere forgetting yourself!! To leave on your own midway Is not the quality of a devotee!!

Students!! The present day student is highly confused. The one who can talk does not study and the one who studies does not talk. Bhagawan cautions repeatedly by saying, “less talk more study”. The human values have vanished today. Human being is not behaving like a human today.

The true meaning of Guru is “one who dispels the darkness of ignorance”. Another meaning of the word is “one who is beyond attributes and forms, namely, the Supreme Self (The Brahman)”. When this Self is within you where is the need to search for someone to teach you? A teacher who teaches others has had a teacher himself. The one who has no Guru above him is the true guru.

Description

For the sake of one rupee, people tell a lie and do all kinds of things throughout the day. For the sake of money, you adopt many deceitful plans and intrigues and involve God Himself in your meaningless actions. Such people who are after money are all the time pretending to repeat the name of the Lord but are in fact intriguing and trying to deceive the Lord Himself. Even if others who listen to these things do not understand, does not God understand what you really mean when you make such fake offerings? You will ultimately get what you deserve.

We have come into this world with our body as a part of ourselves. So long as you remain a part of this world, it is the duty of the young people to enquire and understand the truth behind all this. What is this body and what is its relationship to the world? It is the determination of Sai to sow in the minds of the young people, which are like the rays of the rising sun, the seeds of desire for acquiring spiritual knowledge.

Description

For the sake of one rupee, What happiness did the demon Somakasura attain by stealing the Vedas and hurling abuses at God? What was the fate of the ten-headed Ravana who abducted the consort of Rama? What did Duryodhana, who refused to give the Pandavas even as much land as would a needlepoint occupy, take with him at the end? What happened to the wicked Kamsa ultimately, who indulged in the gruesome act of slaying infants? The same will be the fate of the wicked today. If not today, at least tomorrow, they are bound to meet their doom. Oh man! Do not entertain excessive desires. It is better that you lead a life of moderation.
