jagajjālapālaṃ kanatkaṇṭhamālaṃ
śarachchandraphālaṃ mahādaityakālam ।
nabhōnīlakāyaṃ durāvāramāyaṃ
supadmāsahāyaṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 1 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस भगवान श्रीहरि का बार-बार भजन करता हूँ, जो सम्पूर्ण जगत-जाल के पालक हैं, जिनके कंठ में दिव्य माला सुशोभित है, जिनका ललाट शरद् ऋतु के चन्द्रमा के समान उज्ज्वल है और जो महान् दैत्यों के संहारक हैं। जिनका शरीर आकाश के समान नीलवर्ण है, जिनकी माया को समझ पाना अत्यंत कठिन है और जो सुन्दर कमल के समान लक्ष्मीजी के सहायक एवं प्रिय हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship Lord Hari, the protector of the entire cosmic creation, whose neck is adorned with a radiant garland, whose forehead shines like the autumn moon, and who is the destroyer of mighty demons. His body is blue like the vast sky, His Māyā is beyond comprehension, and He is the beloved companion of the beautiful lotus-like Goddess Lakṣmī.

sadāmbhōdhivāsaṃ galatpuṣpahāsaṃ
jagatsannivāsaṃ śatādityabhāsam ।
gadāchakraśastraṃ lasatpītavastraṃ
hasachchāruvaktraṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 2 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जो सदा क्षीरसागर में निवास करते हैं, जिनकी मनोहर मुस्कान खिले हुए पुष्प के समान है, जो सम्पूर्ण जगत के निवासस्थान हैं और जिनका तेज सैकड़ों सूर्यों के समान प्रकाशमान है। जो गदा और चक्र जैसे दिव्य अस्त्र धारण करते हैं, पीताम्बर से सुशोभित हैं और जिनका मुख सदा मनोहर मुस्कान से दमकता रहता है।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord who eternally dwells upon the cosmic ocean, whose gentle smile resembles a blossoming flower, who is the abode of the entire universe, and whose radiance is like that of hundreds of suns. He bears divine weapons such as the mace and discus, is adorned in yellow garments, and His beautiful face shines with a charming smile.

ramākaṇṭhahāraṃ śrutivrātasāraṃ
jalāntarvihāraṃ dharābhārahāram ।
chidānandarūpaṃ manōjñasvarūpaṃ
dhṛtānēkarūpaṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 3 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जो रमाजी के कंठहार के समान प्रिय हैं, समस्त श्रुतियों के सार हैं, जल के भीतर विहार करने वाले हैं और पृथ्वी का भार हरने वाले हैं। जो चित् और आनन्द के स्वरूप हैं, अत्यंत मनोहर स्वरूप वाले हैं तथा अनेक दिव्य रूपों को धारण करते हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord who is the cherished ornament of Ramā, the essence of all the Vedic revelations, who sports upon the cosmic waters and removes the burden of the Earth. He is of the nature of Consciousness and Bliss, possesses an enchanting form, and assumes innumerable divine manifestations.

jarājanmahīnaṃ parānandapīnaṃ
samādhānalīnaṃ sadaivānavīnam ।
jagajjanmahētuṃ surānīkakētuṃ
trilōkaikasētuṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 4 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जो वृद्धावस्था और जन्म से रहित हैं, परम आनन्द से परिपूर्ण हैं, सदा समाधि में लीन रहते हैं और कभी पुराने या क्षीण नहीं होते। जो सम्पूर्ण जगत की उत्पत्ति के कारण हैं, देवताओं की सेना के ध्वजस्वरूप हैं और तीनों लोकों को जोड़ने वाले एकमात्र सेतु हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord who is free from birth and old age, filled with supreme bliss, ever absorbed in divine meditation, and eternally ever-new. He is the cause of the origin of the universe, the banner of the hosts of the gods, and the one bridge connecting the three worlds.

kṛtāmnāyagānaṃ khagādhīśayānaṃ
vimuktērnidānaṃ harārātimānam ।
svabhaktānukūlaṃ jagadvṛkṣamūlaṃ
nirastārtaśūlaṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 5 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जिनकी स्तुति वेदों द्वारा गान के रूप में की जाती है, जो पक्षिराज गरुड़ पर आरूढ़ होते हैं और मुक्ति के मूल कारण हैं। जो हरि के भक्तों के अनुकूल एवं करुणामय हैं, सम्पूर्ण जगत-रूपी वृक्ष के मूल हैं और भक्तों के सभी दुःखों एवं कष्टों को दूर करते हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord who is praised through the chanting of the Vedas, who rides upon Garuḍa, the king of birds, and who is the source of liberation. He is ever gracious toward His devotees, the root of the cosmic tree, and the remover of the afflictions and sufferings of His devotees.

samastāmarēśaṃ dvirēphābhakēśaṃ
jagadbimbalēśaṃ hṛdākāśavēśam ।
sadā divyadēhaṃ vimuktākhilēhaṃ
suvaikuṇṭhagēhaṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 6 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जो समस्त देवताओं के ईश्वर हैं, जिनके केश भ्रमरों के समान शोभायमान हैं, जो सम्पूर्ण जगत के स्वामी हैं और हृदय के आकाश में विराजमान रहते हैं। जिनका शरीर सदा दिव्य है, जो समस्त बन्धनों से मुक्त हैं और जिनका परम निवास पवित्र वैकुण्ठ धाम है।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord, the supreme Lord of all the gods, whose hair is beautiful like dark bees, who is the sovereign of the entire universe and who dwells in the inner space of the heart. His body is eternally divine; He is free from all bondage, and His supreme abode is the sacred Vaikuṇṭha.

surālībaliṣṭhaṃ trilōkīvariṣṭhaṃ
gurūṇāṃ gariṣṭhaṃ svarūpaikaniṣṭham ।
sadā yuddhadhīraṃ mahāvīravīraṃ
bhavāmbhōdhitīraṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 7 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जो देवताओं में अत्यंत शक्तिशाली हैं, तीनों लोकों में श्रेष्ठ हैं और समस्त गुरुओं में सर्वोच्च हैं। जो अपने वास्तविक स्वरूप में सदा स्थित रहते हैं, युद्ध में सदैव धैर्यवान और वीर हैं, महान् वीरों में भी परम वीर हैं तथा संसाररूपी भवसागर से पार कराने वाले तट के समान हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord who is mighty among the gods, supreme throughout the three worlds, and the greatest among all teachers. He is ever established in His true nature, courageous in battle, the mightiest among heroes, and the shore that enables beings to cross the ocean of worldly existence.

ramāvāmabhāgaṃ talālagnanāgaṃ
kṛtādhīnayāgaṃ gatārāgarāgam ।
munīndraissugītaṃ suraissamparītaṃ
guṇaughairatītaṃ bhajē’haṃ bhajē’ham ॥ 8 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं बार-बार उस भगवान का भजन करता हूँ, जिनके वाम भाग में रमाजी विराजमान हैं, जिनके चरणों से नागराज का सम्बन्ध है, जिन्होंने यज्ञ आदि को अपने अधीन रखा है और जो राग-द्वेष से परे हैं। जिनका गुणगान श्रेष्ठ मुनियों द्वारा किया जाता है, जिनकी देवताओं द्वारा स्तुति की जाती है और जो समस्त गुणों से भी परे हैं।

English Meaning:
I repeatedly worship the Lord with Ramā dwelling upon His left side, whose feet are associated with the divine serpent, who has mastery over sacrificial rites, and who is beyond attachment and aversion. He is beautifully praised by the greatest sages, worshipped by the gods, and transcends the entire multitude of qualities.

फलश्रुति ।

idaṃ yastu nityaṃ samādhāya chittaṃ
paṭhēdaṣṭakaṃ kaṇṭhahāraṃ murārēḥ ।
sa viṣṇōrviśōkaṃ dhruvaṃ yāti lōkaṃ
jarājanmaśōkaṃ punarvindatē nō ॥ 9 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जो व्यक्ति अपने चित्त को एकाग्र करके भगवान मुरारि के इस अष्टक का नित्य पाठ करता है, वह निश्चित रूप से भगवान विष्णु के उस शोक-रहित दिव्य लोक को प्राप्त होता है और फिर जन्म, वृद्धावस्था तथा संसार के दुःखों को पुनः प्राप्त नहीं करता।

English Meaning:
One who regularly recites this eight-verse hymn to Lord Murāri with a concentrated mind surely attains the sorrowless divine realm of Lord Viṣṇu and does not again experience the sorrows of birth, old age, and worldly existence.
