sahasrādityasaṅkāśaṃ sahasravadanaṃ param ।
sahasradōssahasrāraṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 1 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं भगवान श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो हजारों सूर्यों के समान तेजस्वी हैं, जिनके अनंत दिव्य मुख हैं और जिनकी हजार भुजाएँ तथा हजार आरों वाला चक्र अद्भुत दिव्य शक्ति से युक्त है।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in Lord Sri Sudarshana, who shines with the brilliance of a thousand suns, possesses countless divine faces, and is endowed with a thousand arms and a discus having a thousand spokes.

hasantaṃ hārakēyūra makuṭāṅgadabhūṣaṇaiḥ ।
śōbhanairbhūṣitatanuṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 2 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जिनका दिव्य स्वरूप हार, बाजूबंद, मुकुट, अंगद और अन्य सुंदर आभूषणों से अलंकृत होकर अत्यंत शोभायमान है और जो प्रसन्न भाव से विराजमान हैं।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in Sri Sudarshana, whose divine form is beautifully adorned with necklaces, armlets, a crown, bracelets and other splendid ornaments, and who appears radiant and gracious.

srākārasahitaṃ mantraṃ vadanaṃ śatrunigraham ।
sarvarōgapraśamanaṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 3 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जिनके मुख से दिव्य मंत्रस्वरूप शक्ति प्रकट होती है, जो शत्रुओं का दमन करने वाले हैं और सभी प्रकार के रोगों तथा कष्टों को शांत करने वाले हैं।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in Sri Sudarshana, whose divine form is associated with the sacred mantra, who subdues enemies and who brings relief from all kinds of diseases and afflictions.

raṇatkiṅkiṇijālēna rākṣasaghnaṃ mahādbhutam ।
vyuptakēśaṃ virūpākṣaṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 4 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस अद्भुत श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जिनके चारों ओर झंकार करती हुई किंकिणियों की ध्वनि है, जो राक्षसों का संहार करने वाले हैं, जिनके केश खुले हुए हैं और जिनके नेत्र दिव्य एवं सामान्य रूप से भिन्न स्वरूप वाले हैं।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in the wondrous Sri Sudarshana, surrounded by the resonant sound of tinkling bells, the destroyer of Rakshasas, with flowing hair and extraordinary divine eyes.

huṅkārabhairavaṃ bhīmaṃ praṇātārtiharaṃ prabhum ।
sarvapāpapraśamanaṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 5 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस भयंकर एवं प्रचण्ड प्रभु श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जिनकी हुंकार अत्यंत भयावह है, जो शरणागत भक्तों के सभी दुःखों को दूर करते हैं और समस्त पापों का शमन करने वाले हैं।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in the formidable and awe-inspiring Lord Sri Sudarshana, whose thunderous roar is terrifying, who removes the suffering of those who surrender to Him, and who dispels all sins.

phaṭkārāstamanirdēśya divyamantrēṇasaṃyutam ।
śivaṃ prasannavadanaṃ prapadyē’haṃ sudarśanam ॥ 6 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस मंगलमय एवं प्रसन्नमुख श्री सुदर्शन की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो दिव्य मंत्र से संयुक्त हैं और जिनकी शक्ति ‘फट्’कार के द्वारा शत्रुओं तथा बाधाओं का विनाश करने वाली है।

English Meaning:
I seek refuge in the auspicious and gracious-faced Sri Sudarshana, who is united with a divine mantra and whose sacred power, invoked through the sound “Phat,” destroys enemies and obstacles.

ētaiṣṣaḍbhiḥ stutō dēvaḥ prasannaḥ śrīsudarśanaḥ ।
rakṣāṃ karōti sarvātmā sarvatra vijayī bhavēt ॥ 7 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
इन छह श्लोकों द्वारा स्तुति किए जाने पर भगवान श्री सुदर्शन प्रसन्न होते हैं। वे सर्वात्मा होकर साधक की रक्षा करते हैं और उनकी कृपा से भक्त को हर स्थान पर विजय प्राप्त होती है।

English Meaning:
When Lord Sri Sudarshana is praised through these six verses, He becomes gracious. As the indwelling Self of all, He protects the devotee, and by His grace the devotee becomes victorious everywhere.
