ōṃ viṣṇō̠rnuka̍ṃ vī̠ryā̍ṇi̠ pravō̍chaṃ̠ yaḥ pārthi̍vāni vima̠mē rājāgṃ̍si̠ yō aska̍bhāya̠dutta̍ragṃ sa̠dhastha̍ṃ vichakramā̠ṇastrē̠dhōru̍gā̠yaḥ ॥ 1 ॥ (tai. saṃ. 1.2.13.3)

हिंदी अर्थ:
ॐ। मैं भगवान् विष्णु के महान् पराक्रमों का वर्णन करता हूँ, जिन्होंने पृथ्वी के विशाल प्रदेशों को मापा और उच्चतम लोक को स्थिर किया। जो तीन महान् चरणों से विचरण करने वाले, अत्यन्त व्यापक गति वाले और महान् सामर्थ्य से सम्पन्न हैं, उन भगवान् विष्णु की महिमा का मैं स्तवन करता हूँ।

English Meaning:
Om. I shall proclaim the mighty deeds of Lord Viṣṇu, who measured the vast realms of the earth and established the highest abode. He who strides forth in three great steps and whose movement is all-pervading is praised for His supreme power and glory.

viṣṇō̍ra̠rāṭa̍masi̠ viṣṇō̎ḥ pṛ̠ṣṭhama̍si̠ viṣṇō̠-śśnaptrē̎sthō̠ viṣṇō̠ssyūra̍si̠ viṣṇō̎rdhru̠vama̍si vaiṣṇa̠vama̍si̠ viṣṇa̍vē tvā ॥ 2 ॥ (tai. saṃ. 1.2.13.3)

हिंदी अर्थ:
तुम विष्णु की ज्योति और सामर्थ्य हो। तुम विष्णु की पीठ और आधार हो। तुम विष्णु से सम्बन्धित पवित्र स्थान हो। तुम विष्णु की शक्ति हो। तुम विष्णु के अचल और स्थिर स्वरूप हो। तुम वैष्णव हो; मैं तुम्हें भगवान् विष्णु के लिए समर्पित करता हूँ।

English Meaning:
You are the radiance of Viṣṇu; you are His support and foundation. You belong to the sacred realm of Viṣṇu. You are His vital power and His steadfast, immovable nature. You are Vaiṣṇava; I dedicate you to Lord Viṣṇu.

tada̍sya pri̠yama̠bhipāthō̍ aśyām । narō̠ yatra̍ dēva̠yavō̠ mada̍nti । u̠ru̠kra̠masya̠ sa hi bandhu̍ri̠tthā । viṣṇō̎ pa̠dē pa̍ra̠mē madhva̠ uthsa̍ḥ ॥ 3 ॥ (tai. brā. 2.4.6.2)

हिंदी अर्थ:
हम उस परम प्रिय और मंगलमय धाम को प्राप्त करें, जहाँ देवत्व की इच्छा रखने वाले भक्त आनन्दित होते हैं। विस्तृत चरणों से विचरण करने वाले भगवान् विष्णु का वह परम पद हमारा सच्चा सम्बन्ध और आश्रय है। उस परम पद में अमृतमय आनन्द का स्रोत विद्यमान है।

English Meaning:
May we attain that beloved and auspicious abode where those devoted to the Divine rejoice. That supreme abode of Viṣṇu, the Lord of expansive strides, is our true refuge and spiritual kinship. There is a source of immortal bliss in that highest abode.

pra tadviṣṇu̍-sstavatē vī̠ryā̍ya । mṛ̠gō na bhī̠maḥ ku̍cha̠rō gi̍ri̠ṣṭhāḥ । yasyō̠ruṣu̍ tri̠ṣu vi̠krama̍ṇēṣu । adhi̍kṣa̠yanti̠ bhuva̍nāni̠ viśvā̎ ॥ 4 ॥ (tai. brā. 2.4.3.4)

हिंदी अर्थ:
भगवान् विष्णु अपने महान् पराक्रम के कारण स्तुति के योग्य हैं। वे पर्वत पर विचरण करने वाले भयंकर सिंह के समान शक्तिशाली हैं। उनके तीन महान् चरणों के विस्तार में समस्त लोक स्थित और सुरक्षित रहते हैं।

English Meaning:
Viṣṇu is praised for His supreme strength and heroic power. He is mighty like a formidable beast moving upon the mountains. Within His three expansive strides, all the worlds are established and sustained.

pa̠rō mātra̍yā ta̠nuvā̍ vṛdhāna । na tē̍ mahi̠tvamanva̍śnuvanti । u̠bhē tē̍ vidma̠ raja̍sī pṛthi̠vyā viṣṇō̍ dēva̠tvam । pa̠ra̠masya̍ vithsē ॥ 5 ॥ (tai. brā. 2.8.3.2)

हिंदी अर्थ:
हे विष्णु! आप अपनी दिव्य सत्ता से सभी सीमाओं से परे विस्तार को प्राप्त हुए हैं। कोई भी आपकी महानता की पूर्ण सीमा को नहीं पा सकता। हम पृथ्वी और अन्तरिक्ष—इन दोनों लोकों को जानते हैं, और आपके परम दिव्य स्वरूप तथा सर्वोच्च देवत्व को भी जानने का प्रयास करते हैं।

English Meaning:
O Viṣṇu! You have expanded beyond every measure through Your divine being. No one can fully comprehend the extent of Your greatness. We know the earthly and atmospheric realms, and we seek to understand Your supreme divinity and transcendental nature.

vicha̍kramē pṛthi̠vīmē̠ṣa ē̠tām । kṣētrā̍ya̠ viṣṇu̠rmanu̍ṣē daśa̠syann । dhru̠vāsō̍ asya kī̠rayō̠ janā̍saḥ । ū̠ru̠kṣi̠tigṃ su̠jani̍māchakāra ॥ 6 ॥ (tai. brā. 2.4.3.5)

हिंदी अर्थ:
भगवान् विष्णु ने इस पृथ्वी पर अपने चरण फैलाए और मनुष्यों के कल्याण तथा जीवन-क्षेत्र की स्थापना की। उनके यश का गान करने वाले लोग स्थिर और सुरक्षित रहते हैं। उन्होंने विस्तृत निवास योग्य पृथ्वी को समृद्ध और शुभ बनाया।

English Meaning:
Lord Viṣṇu traversed and encompassed this earth, establishing a благоприятный realm for humanity. Those who sing His glory remain secure and steadfast. He made the wide earth a prosperous and auspicious place fit for habitation.

trirdē̠vaḥ pṛ̍thi̠vīmē̠ṣa ē̠tām । vicha̍kramē śa̠tarcha̍sa-mmahi̠tvā । pra viṣṇu̍rastu ta̠vasa̠stavī̍yān । tvē̠ṣagg hya̍sya̠ sthavi̍rasya̠ nāma̍ ॥ 7 ॥ (tai. brā. 2.4.3.5)

हिंदी अर्थ:
देवस्वरूप भगवान् विष्णु ने इस पृथ्वी पर तीन महान् चरणों से विचरण किया और अपने अद्भुत तेज तथा सामर्थ्य को प्रकट किया। वे अत्यन्त शक्तिशाली और महान् हैं। उनके प्रबल, स्थिर और तेजस्वी स्वरूप का नाम ही महिमा से परिपूर्ण है।

English Meaning:
The divine Lord Viṣṇu traversed this earth in three mighty strides, revealing His extraordinary power and splendour. He is supremely strong and majestic. His name itself expresses the glory of His powerful, steadfast and radiant nature.

atō̍ dē̠vā a̍vantu nō̠ yatō̠ viṣṇu̍rvichakra̠mē । pṛ̠thi̠vyā-ssa̠ptadhāma̍bhiḥ । i̠daṃ viṣṇu̠rvicha̍kramē trē̠dhā nida̍dhē pa̠dam । samū̍ḍhamasya pāgṃ su̠rē ॥ trīṇi̍ pa̠dā vicha̍kramē̠ viṣṇu̍rgō̠pā adā̎bhyaḥ । tatō̠ dharmā̍ṇi dhā̠rayan̍ । viṣṇō̠ḥ karmā̍ṇi paśyata̠ yatō̎ vra̠tāni̍ paspa̠śē । indra̍sya̠ yujya̠ssakhā̎ ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जहाँ भगवान् विष्णु ने अपने चरणों से विस्तार किया है, वहाँ से देवता हमारी रक्षा करें। विष्णु ने पृथ्वी के सात आधारों या प्रदेशों में अपने चरण स्थापित किए। उन्होंने तीन महान् चरणों से समस्त जगत् को व्याप्त किया। वे अजेय रक्षक हैं और उन्हीं से धर्मों की स्थापना एवं धारण होती है। भगवान् विष्णु के दिव्य कर्मों को देखो—वे समस्त व्रतों और धर्मों के साक्षी हैं तथा इन्द्र के योग्य मित्र और सहचर हैं।

English Meaning:
May the gods protect us from the realms where Viṣṇu has extended His cosmic strides across the seven regions of the earth. Viṣṇu established His three great steps and pervaded the entire universe. He is the unconquerable protector and the upholder of dharma. Behold the divine deeds of Viṣṇu, through whom the sacred laws and vows are sustained; He is the worthy companion and friend of Indra.

tadviṣṇō̎ḥ para̠ma-mpa̠dagṃ sadā̍ paśyanti sū̠raya̍ḥ । di̠vīva̠ chakṣu̠rāta̍tam । tadviprā̍sō vipa̠nyavō̍ jāgṛ̠vāgṃ sa̠ssamiṃ̍dhatē । viṣṇō̠ryatpa̍ra̠ma-mpa̠dam ।

हिंदी अर्थ:
ज्ञानी और दिव्यदर्शी पुरुष भगवान् विष्णु के उस परम पद का सदा दर्शन करते हैं, जो आकाश में विस्तृत नेत्र के समान सर्वत्र प्रकाशित है। जागरूक और विवेकी ऋषि उस परम पद का निरन्तर ध्यान करते हुए अपने आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान को प्रज्वलित रखते हैं। वही भगवान् विष्णु का परम धाम है।

English Meaning:
The wise and spiritually awakened seers constantly behold the supreme abode of Viṣṇu, which is spread across the heavens like an all-seeing eye. The enlightened sages, ever vigilant and contemplative, kindle their spiritual awareness through meditation upon that supreme abode of Viṣṇu.

paryā̎ptyā̠ anaṃ̍tarāyāya̠ sarva̍stōmō-‘ti rā̠tra u̍tta̠ma maha̍rbhavati sarva̠syāptyai̠ sarva̍sya̠ jittyai̠ sarva̍mē̠va tēnā̎pnōti̠ sarvaṃ̍ jayati ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जो इस परम सत्य और भगवान् विष्णु के परम पद को जानता और साधना करता है, उसके लिए पूर्णता और निर्बाध सिद्धि का मार्ग प्रशस्त होता है। सर्वस्तोम और अतिरात्र जैसे वैदिक अनुष्ठान उच्चतम महत्त्व प्राप्त करते हैं। उनके द्वारा साधक पूर्णता, विजय और समस्त इच्छित आध्यात्मिक फल को प्राप्त करता है।

English Meaning:
For one who realizes and contemplates this supreme truth and the highest abode of Viṣṇu, the path toward completeness and unobstructed spiritual attainment becomes established. The sacred rites such as Sarvastoma and Atirātra attain their highest significance. Through them, one is said to attain fullness, victory and the complete fruits of spiritual endeavour.

ōṃ śānti̠-śśānti̠-śśānti̍ḥ ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
ॐ। शान्ति! शान्ति! शान्ति!—आध्यात्मिक, आधिभौतिक और आधिदैविक सभी प्रकार के कष्टों और अशान्तियों का निवारण हो तथा सर्वत्र शान्ति स्थापित हो।

English Meaning:
Om. May there be peace, peace, peace—may peace prevail by the removal of spiritual, material and divine disturbances, and may harmony and tranquillity exist everywhere.
