sphuratsahasrāraśikhātitīvraṃ
sudarśanaṃ bhāskarakōṭitulyam ।
suradviṣāṃ prāṇavināśi viṣṇōḥ
chakraṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥ 1 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं भगवान विष्णु के उस चक्र की सदा शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जिसकी सहस्र धाराएँ और अग्नि के समान प्रचण्ड ज्योति अत्यंत तीव्र है, जो करोड़ों सूर्यों के समान प्रकाशमान है और देवताओं के शत्रुओं के प्राणों का विनाश करने वाला है। यह दिव्य सुदर्शन चक्र भगवान विष्णु का महान अस्त्र है।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in Lord Vishnu’s discus, Sudarshana, whose thousand radiant edges blaze with intense brilliance, equal to the light of millions of suns, and which destroys the life-force of the enemies of the gods.

viṣṇōrmukhōtthānilapūritasya
yasya dhvanirdānavadarpahantā ।
taṃ pāñchajanyaṃ śaśikōṭiśubhraṃ
śaṅkhaṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥ 2 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं उस पंचजन्य शंख की सदा शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो करोड़ों चंद्रमाओं के समान उज्ज्वल और पवित्र है। भगवान विष्णु के मुख से निकली वायु से पूर्ण होकर इसकी दिव्य ध्वनि दैत्यों के अहंकार का नाश कर देती है।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in the Panchajanya conch, which is radiant and pure like millions of moons. Filled with the breath issuing from Lord Vishnu’s mouth, its sacred sound destroys the pride and arrogance of the demons.

hiraṇmayīṃ mērusamānasārāṃ
kaumōdakīṃ daityakulaikahantrīm ।
vaikuṇṭhavāmāgrakarāgramṛṣṭāṃ
gadāṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥ 3 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं भगवान विष्णु की स्वर्णमयी कौमोदकी गदा की सदा शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो मेरु पर्वत के समान अत्यंत दृढ़ और शक्तिशाली है, जो समस्त दैत्य कुल का संहार करने वाली है और जिसे वैकुण्ठनाथ भगवान विष्णु अपने बाएँ हाथ के अग्रभाग में धारण करते हैं।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in the golden Kaumodaki mace of Lord Vishnu, firm and mighty like Mount Meru, the destroyer of the entire race of demons, which is held at the foremost part of the left hand of the Lord of Vaikuntha.

yajjyāninādaśravaṇātsurāṇāṃ
chētāṃsi nirmuktabhayāni sadyaḥ ।
bhavanti daityāśanibāṇavarṣaiḥ
śārṅgaṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥ 4 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं भगवान विष्णु के शार्ङ्ग धनुष की सदा शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ। जिसकी प्रत्यंचा की टंकार सुनते ही देवताओं के हृदय तत्काल भय से मुक्त हो जाते हैं और जिसके वज्र के समान तीक्ष्ण बाणों की वर्षा दैत्यों का विनाश कर देती है।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in Lord Vishnu’s Sharnga bow. At the sound of its drawn bowstring, the hearts of the gods are immediately freed from fear, while its rain of thunderbolt-like arrows destroys the demons.

rakṣō’surāṇāṃ kaṭhinōgrakaṇṭha-
-chChēdakṣarat‍kṣōṇita digdhasāram ।
taṃ nandakaṃ nāma harēḥ pradīptaṃ
khaḍgaṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥ 5 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं भगवान हरि की नन्दक नामक उस तेजस्वी तलवार की सदा शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो राक्षसों और असुरों के कठोर एवं भयंकर कंठों को काटने वाली है और उनके बहते हुए रक्त से जिसकी धार और भी भयंकर दिखाई देती है।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in the radiant sword of Lord Hari known as Nandaka, which severs the hard and formidable necks of Rakshasas and demons, its sharp blade becoming stained with their flowing blood.

imaṃ harēḥ pañchamahāyudhānāṃ
stavaṃ paṭhēdyō’nudinaṃ prabhātē ।
samasta duḥkhāni bhayāni sadyaḥ
pāpāni naśyanti sukhāni santi ॥ 6 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जो व्यक्ति प्रतिदिन प्रातःकाल भगवान हरि के इन पाँच महान आयुधों के इस स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है, उसके सभी दुःख और भय शीघ्र ही नष्ट हो जाते हैं तथा उसके पापों का क्षय होकर जीवन में सुख की प्राप्ति होती है।

English Meaning:
Whoever recites this hymn to the five great weapons of Lord Hari every morning will have all sufferings and fears quickly removed. Sins are destroyed, and happiness is attained.

vanē raṇē śatru jalāgnimadhyē
yadṛchChayāpatsu mahābhayēṣu ।
paṭhētvidaṃ stōtramanākulātmā
sukhībhavēttatkṛta sarvarakṣaḥ ॥ 7 ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जो व्यक्ति वन में, युद्धभूमि में, शत्रुओं के बीच, जल या अग्नि के संकट में, आकस्मिक विपत्तियों अथवा अत्यंत भयंकर परिस्थितियों में भी शांत चित्त से इस स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है, वह सुखी होता है और इन दिव्य आयुधों द्वारा उसकी सभी ओर से रक्षा होती है।

English Meaning:
One who recites this hymn with a calm and undisturbed mind in a forest, on a battlefield, among enemies, amidst water or fire, during unexpected calamities, or in situations of great danger becomes happy and receives complete protection through these divine weapons.

sachakraśaṅkhaṃ sagadāsiśārṅgaṃ
[yachchakraśaṅkhaṃ gadakhaḍgaśārṅgiṇaṃ]
pītāmbaraṃ kaustubha-vatsa-chihnam । [kaustubha-vatsa-lāñChitam]
śriyā samētōjjvala śōbhitāṅgaṃ
viṣṇuṃ sadā’haṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadyē ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
मैं सदा भगवान विष्णु की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ, जो चक्र, शंख, गदा और शार्ङ्ग धनुष धारण किए हुए हैं; जो पीताम्बर पहने हुए हैं; जिनके वक्षस्थल पर कौस्तुभ मणि और श्रीवत्स का चिह्न सुशोभित है; और जिनका दिव्य शरीर देवी श्री के साथ अत्यंत उज्ज्वल एवं शोभायमान है।

English Meaning:
I always seek refuge in Lord Vishnu, who bears the discus, conch, mace and Sharnga bow; who is clad in yellow garments; whose chest is adorned with the Kaustubha gem and the mark of Shrivatsa; and whose divine form shines beautifully together with Goddess Sri.

jalē rakṣatu vārāhaḥ sthalē rakṣatu vāmanaḥ ।
aṭavyāṃ nārasiṃhaścha sarvataḥ pātu kēśavaḥ ॥

हिंदी अर्थ:
जल में भगवान वराह मेरी रक्षा करें, स्थल पर भगवान वामन मेरी रक्षा करें। वन में भगवान नरसिंह मेरी रक्षा करें और सभी दिशाओं में भगवान केशव मेरी रक्षा करें।

English Meaning:
May Lord Varaha protect me in the waters, and may Lord Vamana protect me on land. May Lord Narasimha protect me in the forest, and may Lord Keshava protect me everywhere and in all directions.
