Bhajans continued until 0600 hrs, and ended with Bhagawan ‘singing’ ‘Shiva Shiva Shiva Shambho… Hara Hara Hara Shambho’. Maha Mangala Arathi followed marking the grand culmination. Sanctified Prasadam, tamarind rice and sweet pudding, was distributed to the entire assemblage of devotees.
Over the past several decades Prasanthi Nilayam had the grand tradition of Shivarathri festivity with full night vigil of Akhanda Bhajan. Owing to the prevailing pandemic restrictions, this year, Bhajan was conducted for 2 hours at the beginning and 90 minutes at the end.
