Architecture of the Temple

The temple is built in shikhara style, with a distinctive bee-hive shaped dome made of red bricks.
Inside, the nine Lingams are placed in a circular arrangement, with the Sun God at the center.
Its hilltop setting offers panoramic views of Guwahati city and the Brahmaputra River, adding to its spiritual charm.
How to Reach to Temple
By Air: The temple is about 24–26 km from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati. Taxis are easily available.
By Train: The temple is only 3 km from Guwahati Railway Station. Autos and cabs are available to the hill.
By Road: Well-connected by city buses, autos, and taxis. The nearest stop is Cenikuthi, followed by a short climb to the hilltop temple.
