Lord Rama
Lord Rama, revered as Maryada Purushottama , is one of the most beloved deities in Hinduism and the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He is the central figure of the Ramayana , where his life represents righteousness, truth, courage, compassion, and devotion to duty.
Born as the eldest son of King Dasharatha and Queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya, Lord Rama was known for his noble character and unwavering commitment to Dharma . When he was sent into fourteen years of exile, he accepted his father’s promise without resentment. Accompanied by Maa Sita and his devoted brother Lakshmana, Rama spent the years of exile facing many challenges.
The abduction of Sita by the demon king Ravana led to the great battle of Lanka. With the support of Hanuman and the Vanara army, Lord Rama defeated Ravana and restored righteousness. His return to Ayodhya is celebrated as Diwali , symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.
Lord Rama’s life teaches the importance of keeping one’s word, respecting parents, standing for truth, and performing one’s responsibilities with courage and humility. His devotion to Dharma makes him an eternal inspiration for millions of devotees.
