The site is approximately 35 km from Karimnagar and 15–16 km from Jagtial.

Mythological Significance & History

Local legend recounts that around 300 years ago, a cowherd named Singam Sanjeevudu, searching for his lost buffalo, drifted into a vivid dream where Lord Anjaneya Swamy guided him to the buffalo’s location. On awakening, he discovered a glowing idol of Hanuman and built a small shrine there. This humble beginning grew into the present temple—significantly renovated about 160 years ago by Krishna Rao Deshmukh.

Significance of the Temple

The idol is considered Swayambhu (self-manifested), making the temple spiritually profound.
Devotees come here with deep faith, especially for childless couples—offering 40-day prayers often brings the blessing of offspring.
The place is also believed to aid those with psychological ailments or mental health challenges, thanks to its divine energy.
