Legend holds that Goddess Sati’s right big toe fell at this site, making it a revered spot. Architecture of the Temple The temple exhibits the Bengali Ek‑ratna style, characterized by a square sanctum topped with a conical dome. The structure stands roughly 24 sq ft at the base and 75 ft high. Inside, two stone idols are worshipped: the larger (~5 ft) of Goddess Tripura Sundari, and a smaller (~2 ft) known as Chhoto‑Ma, believed to have accompanied kings in battle. Nearby, the Kalyan Sagar Lake—home to revered tortoises and fish—adds to the temple’s tranquil ambiance and spiritual charm. How to Reach to Temple By Air: Nearest airport is Agartala Airport, about 55–65 km away. By Rail: Udaipur Railway Station (Tripura) is only ~3 km away.
