Yadadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Yadagirigutta

It is considered one of the most important pilgrimage destinations in South India and is managed by the Telangana State Government.






Architecture of the Temple

The temple is built in traditional Dravidian architecture with grand gopurams (temple towers) and intricately carved pillars.
Renovation began in 2016 and was completed in 2022, transforming it into a modern-day spiritual marvel costing ₹1800+ crores.
Stones used include Krishna Shila (black granite), Sthri Shila (for female deities), and Napunsaka Shila (for floors and walls).
The temple complex includes:
Yagashala, Pushkarini, and separate pathways for pilgrims.
Mukha Mandapam (main hall)
Kalyana Mandapam (marriage hall)
How to Reach to Temple
By Road:
- From Hyderabad: 60–65 km via Uppal → Ghatkesar → Bhongir → Yadagirigutta.
- Buses and taxis are available regularly.
By Train:
- Nearest Railway Station:
- Raigir Station (Yadadri) – ~5 km
- Bhongir Station – ~13 km
By Air:
You can hire a taxi or take a train to Yadadri from there.
Nearest Airport: Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad (~80 km).
