सागर मंथन में सब ने, कश्यप रूप बनाया।
अपने पिठ मंदराचल जल, पर्वत का भार उठाया।
पृथ्वी की रक्षा के लिए, वराह रूप में आए।
हिरण्याक्ष को मारके, धरती जल के ऊपर लाए।

Lord Vishnu destroyed demons like Madhu and Kaitabh, saved the Vedas, and brought joy to the world.
In the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean), He took the Kurma (tortoise) form to hold Mount Mandara.
He appeared as Varaha (boar incarnation) to save the Earth by killing Hiranyaksha and lifting Earth from the ocean.

भक्त प्रह्लाद की रक्षा के लिए, प्रभु ने नरसिंह अवतार लिया।
अभिमानी अत्याचारी, हिरण्यकश्यप को मार दिया।
भूमें पग धरके बलि, वामन रूप विराट किया।
बली के सर पे पग धरके, प्रभु ने उसका उद्धार किया।
परशुराम अवतार प्रभु का, जगत प्रसिद्ध कहलाए।

To protect His devotee Prahlad, the Lord took the Narasimha (man-lion) form and killed the arrogant Hiranyakashipu.
He became Vamana, the dwarf Brahmin, and measured the three worlds with His steps, granting King Bali liberation.
In Parashurama form, He rid the world of evil kings.

त्रेता युग में प्रभु ने ही, श्रीराम रूप में जन्म लिया।
जनक सभा में शिव का धनुष तोड़, सीता से विवाह किया।
जब द्वापर युग आएगा, अवतार कृष्ण का लेंगे प्रभु।
संहार कंस का करके, जग का संताप हरेंगे प्रभु।
जब जब घर हिंसा फैलेगी, प्रभु बुद्ध रूप में आएंगे।
“बुद्धं शरणं गच्छामि”, प्रेम-अहिंसा का पाठ पढ़ाएंगे।
होगा कल्कि अवतार प्रभु का, जब घोर कलयुग आए।
धरती पे अधर्म की छाया, कहीं न रहने पाए।

In Treta Yuga, the Lord came as Shri Ram and married Sita after breaking Lord Shiva’s bow.
In Dwapara Yuga, He incarnated as Krishna, killed Kansa, and relieved the world’s suffering.
When violence spread, He came as Buddha, teaching peace and compassion.
In the future, He will come as Kalki to destroy evil in the dark age of Kaliyuga.
