Khajrana Ganesha Temple, Indore

It is one of the most visited temples in Indore, especially on Wednesdays and Sundays.






Architecture of the Temple

The sanctum (Garbhagriha) has silver-plated doors and walls, decorated with intricate carvings.
The idol of Lord Ganesha is unique with diamond-studded eyes, donated by a local businessman.
The idol, around 25 feet tall, is made from a sacred mix of limestone, jaggery, bricks, and holy soil and water from pilgrimage sites.
The temple complex also has shrines of Shiva, Hanuman, Durga, and a wish-fulfilling Peepal tree.

By Air: Nearest airport is Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport, ~8–10 km away.
By Rail: Indore Junction Railway Station is ~5 km away.
By Road: Easily accessible by buses, autos, and taxis within Indore city.
