Chintpurni Shakti Peetha

Nestled in the lower Shivalik foothills at an elevation of approximately 978 m, it’s surrounded by forests and scenic vistas of the western Himalayas

Architecture of the Temple

The temple’s design is modest and spiritual—it houses a simple garbhagriha with a sacred pindi (round stone idol) symbolizing the deity’s feet.
Surrounding the main shrine are four Shiva temples—Narayana Mahadev, Kaleshwar, Muchkund and Shiva Bari—symbolizing the unity of Ardhanareshwar (Shiva-Shakti)
The complex includes open courtyards, pilgrims’ areas, and market lanes offering puja items and prasad
