Architecture of the Temple

The Anantha Vasudeva Temple showcases beautiful Dravidian-style architecture, with intricate carvings and stone sculptures that depict scenes from Hindu mythology, particularly those involving Lord Vishnu and his incarnations.
The temple complex is spacious, with a grand main sanctum housing the idol of Lord Vishnu in a standing posture, adorned with gold and precious gems. The temple also features shrines dedicated to Lord Lakshmi, Lord Ganesha, and other deities of the Vishnu pantheon.
The tower (shikhara) above the temple’s sanctum is ornately designed with mythological motifs. The pillars surrounding the temple’s hall are beautifully carved with scenes from the Ramayana and Mahabharata.

- From Majestic Bus Station: The temple is around 4 km (15 minutes by car).
By Metro: The nearest metro station is Cubbon Park Metro Station, which is just a few minutes’ walk from the temple.
