Madanmohan Ji Temple, Mellock

Architecture of the Temple

The temple is constructed in the classic At-chala style—a traditional Bengali architectural form featuring a roof with eight slopes—and faces west.
The sacred idol is crafted from ashtadhatu (an eight-metal alloy) and placed atop a lotus pedestal inside the sanctum.
How to Reach to Temple
- By Rail: Khardaha station on the Sealdah–Ranaghat suburban line provides direct access; the temple is a short walk from the station .
- By Road: Accessible via auto-rickshaw or local transort from Kolkata and nearby towns.
