God alone is the real Guru
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
Concentrate on the love of God. Although one’s mother, father, and preceptor are to be adored as divine beings, they are not God. God should be worshipped as mother, father, preceptor, kinsman, and friend. Father, mother, and preceptor dwell in their respective abodes. But God dwells in your heart. Love the Lord who resides in your heart. All other objects of love are impermanent. What is the use of education if you have not learnt to worship God?
2.)Na Tha Pamsi
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
One cannot cross the ocean of the cycle of births and deaths by visiting the sacred places, or by performing japa or by studying the Sastras (scriptures). It is only possible to do so by indulging in seva or service.

Service To Man Is Service To The Lord
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
Through service, we should be able to fulfill the purpose of our life. In this sacred country of ours, the idea of service has been handed over to us by the Rishis and the gurus. They had enjoined on us that we should fulfill our lives by service. In all the Gurukulas morals and ethics were taught. Teaching good things and preaching great ideals were their daily routine. Man was taught how to cherish sacred ideals and lead a good life. In the Gurukulas, morals and moral life were only taught, but in the Rishikulas, such ideals which promoted the prosperity of the world were put into practice and demonstrated. However, today neither such Gurukulas, nor such Rishikulas exist.
3.)Daanamu Kaani Yagna Sandhanamu Kaani
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
If we examine carefully, we will find that neither gift, nor a donation, nor the performance of Yagna, nor of penance, nor acquisition of knowledge and wisdom or any other aspect of sanathana dharma, or even reacting to truth and any other aspect which comes under the description of Sanathana Dharma is equal to or even comparable to seva or service. The reputation of this country “Bharath” has been known all over on this earth from time immemorial and it is now being sharpened by the righteous path which Sai is propagating. You, to the extent to which you can, with the fineness that you are capable of, give it a further polish.

Structure and the guidelines to Sathya Sai Organization
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
In the Sathya Sai organization we should regard Love as the essential life giving source. Amongst the members of the Sathya Sai Organizations if one against another member feels any hatred or jealousy or even a difference of opinion this will result in being a sin. This will be like betraying the organization itself. We should make an attempt to remove from us such bad thoughts. People who have such ideas and such thoughts have no right to enter the organization.
4.)Na tha pamsi, Na teerthana
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
Neither penance nor meditation nor proficiency of the sacred texts is of any avail in crossing the ocean of ‘Samsara’. The only avenue of crossing the ‘Samsara’ is ‘Seva’.

Sathya Sai Sevadal and Organisation
Bangalore, Brindavan (Ugadi )
Description
Embodiments of the Divine, the workers in social service! For the last five days, sevadals from different states have gathered here and have been discussing and carrying on deliberations relating to the different programs of service. We must remember that we have not gathered here to promote social contacts or to indulge in conversations of worldly affairs or to while away time. On the other hand, we should also bear in mind the truth that we have gathered here to recognise, to some extent, the things that we are unaware of, the ideals that should guide us in the path of service, the sacred services that need to be done and to put them into practice. The members of the sevadal must become experts in practice and experts in action.
