It is Described that god vishnu took half man and fish form as well some Epic States about full form as Matsya(fish).

Shri Hari As Kurma ( Tortoise ) Avatar

Sri Kurma Avatar is Second Incarnation of god vishnu whereas Sri Matsya Avatar(incarnation) is First incarnation in Universe.God vishnu took Kurma avatar in Water in form of Tortoise (kurma) in Satya Yuga.

The Narayana Upanishad reads: "'Om Namo Narayanayeti mantra upasaka Vaikuntha bhuvanam gamishyati' [15], or "Whosoever chants the 'Om Namo Narayana' mantra reaches the ultimate goal Vaikuntha planet where one attains eternal blissful life." Sri Parshuram Avatar

The sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. He was a son of Jamdagni a sage. His name Parashurama is derived from his weapon - Axe which is 'Parshu' in Sanskrit. He went round the earth 21 times and punished the evil-doers who were harassing the subjects. He was the preceptor of great Acharyas like Bhishmas and Drona. He even taught the art of Archery to Karna from Mahabharata. He is supposed to be one of few immortals on this earth.

Sri Vaman Avatar
