By whose strength even the great mountains tremble, and whose mere presence drives away all diseases, evils, and fears. He is the powerful son of Anjani, the giver of immense strength, and the constant protector of all who seek divine children or strength. By the command of Lord Rama, the brave hero set forth to Lanka, burned down the city, and brought back the news of Mother Sita. The vast ocean, spanning hundreds of miles, was crossed by him in one effortless leap, and he did not falter even once. He burned Lanka, destroyed the demons, and completed all the divine tasks of Shri Sita-Rama with perfect devotion and courage. When Lakshmana fell unconscious in battle, Hanuman flew to the Himalayas and brought back the life-giving Sanjeevani herb, reviving him and restoring hope to all. He entered the netherworld, tore apart the bonds of Yama, and destroyed the demon Ahiravana, uprooting his mighty arms and ending his evil reign. With his left arm, he destroys demon forces, and with his right arm, he saves and protects the saints and devotees. Gods, men, and sages all perform his Aarti with deep devotion, singing praises of Hanuman, the mighty son of the Wind God. “Victory, victory, victory to Hanuman!” resound the heavens. In a golden tray, camphor flames glow brightly as Mother Anjani lovingly waves the Aarti before her divine son. Lord Rama, the ruler of Ayodhya, smiles joyfully, remembering Hanuman’s great service in destroying Lanka and rescuing Sita. Saint Tulsidas sings the glory of Hanuman, whose devotion to Rama is pure and eternal. Whoever sings this Aarti of Hanuman Ji with faith and love attains supreme bliss and reaches the eternal abode of Vaikuntha, the highest divine realm. Perform the Aarti of Hanuman Lalla, the destroyer of demons and the embodiment of Lord Rama’s power — may his blessings protect us forever.

O Holy Mother, embodiment of all auspiciousness, we bow to You again and again. Lord Vishnu, Brahma, and Shiva constantly meditate upon You, O Mother of the Universe, the source of all creation and power. Your forehead shines with the mark of vermilion, and on it rests a tilak of musk. Your bright and charming eyes are radiant like the moon, and Your beautiful face glows with divine splendor. Your form shines like pure gold, and You are adorned with red garments. Around Your neck is a garland of red flowers, symbolizing strength and devotion. Every ornament upon You glitters with sacred brilliance. You ride upon the mighty lion, holding a sword and a skull in Your hands, symbolizing Your power to destroy evil and ignorance. Gods, sages, and all beings serve You with devotion, for You are the remover of all suffering and fear. Your earrings sparkle beautifully, and a pearl adorns Your nose. Your face glows brighter than countless moons and suns together, radiating divine light throughout the universe. You are the slayer of the demons Shumbha and Nishumbha, and the vanquisher of the buffalo demon Mahishasura. Your eyes are blazing with righteous fury as You destroy all wicked forces and protect the virtuous. The sixty-four Yoginis sing praises of You, while Lord Bhairava dances in divine ecstasy before You. You are worshipped as Brahma, Vishnu, and Sadashiva, the Creator, Preserver, and Destroyer — all three divine forms united in You, O Lord with Goddess Parvati as Your eternal half. You are the one-faced, four-faced, and five-faced Supreme Ruler of the universe. You sit upon the swan like Brahma, upon Garuda like Vishnu, and ride the sacred bull Nandi as Shiva. The entire creation bows to You, O Lord of all beings. In some forms You appear with two arms, in others with four or ten, each radiating divine beauty and power. The three worlds — heaven, earth, and the underworld — are enchanted by Your threefold form as the embodiment of the three gunas (sattva, rajas, tamas). You wear garlands of beads, flowers, and skulls — showing Your mastery over life, death, and time itself. You are the destroyer of the demon Tripurasura and the slayer of Kansa. In Your hands You hold the rosary and the trident, symbols of meditation and destruction of evil. You wear white clothes, yellow garments, and the tiger skin upon Your body. You are surrounded by great sages like Sanaka, divine beings like Garuda, and spirits and ghosts who serve You with devotion. In Your hands You hold the kamandalu (water pot), the chakra (divine disc), and the trishul (trident). You are the Creator, Preserver, and Destroyer of the entire universe. Everything that exists comes from You, lives by You, and dissolves back into You. Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are known to be three forms of the one Supreme Reality. They are united in the sacred syllable ‘Om’ (Pranavakshar), which represents the eternal sound of existence — You, O Lord, are that very essence. You reside with Goddess Parvati on the holy mountain Kailash, where You live in simplicity and detachment. You enjoy bhang (herbal offering) and dhatura (sacred flower) and dwell covered in holy ash, symbolizing renunciation and purity. The sacred Ganga River flows from Your matted hair, and around Your neck hangs a garland of skulls, symbolizing victory over death. The serpent Sheshnaga coils around You, and You wear a deer-skin as Your garment — a symbol of humility and detachment. In the holy city of Kashi (Varanasi), You shine as Vishwanath, Lord of the Universe, with Nandi the Brahmachari always by Your side. Devotees who rise early and behold Your divine form receive immense blessings and liberation. Whoever sings this Aarti of the Lord of the three gunas with devotion, says Swami Shivananda, attains all his heart’s desires and receives divine grace. Om Jai Shiv Omkara, glory to You, O Lord Shiva, the eternal one, the supreme consciousness beyond all names and forms!

Mṛtyunjaya Manasa Puja

Mṛtyunjaya Manasa Puja Stotram The Mṛtyunjaya Manasa Puja Stotram is a revered hymn dedicated to Lord Shiva, particularly in his aspect as Mahāmṛtyunjaya, the great conqueror of death. Unlike conventional worship that relies on physical offerings, this stotram emphasizes mental or inner worship, where the devotee imagines presenting a throne, flowers, incense, lamps, food, and ornaments to Lord Shiva in their mind. This approach reflects the profound spiritual truth that true devotion comes from the heart and mind, not merely from external rituals. It encourages devotees to cultivate deep concentration, imagination, and sincerity, creating a personal and intimate connection with the divine. By reciting the stotram with faith, the devotee seeks protection from death, danger, and misfortune, while also gaining spiritual purification and inner strength. The hymn is believed to remove fear, calm the mind, and bring mental clarity, encouraging the devotee to focus on eternal values rather than temporary worldly attachments. It demonstrates that the divine is accessible to all, regardless of material circumstances, and that heartfelt devotion alone is sufficient to invoke the blessings of Lord Shiva. The Mṛtyunjaya Manasa Puja Stotram also teaches the transformative power of devotion and visualization. By mentally offering every ritual element to Shiva, the practitioner develops mindfulness, concentration, and spiritual discipline. The practice not only strengthens the bond between the devotee and Lord Shiva but also fosters qualities like compassion, patience, and surrender. Over time, consistent recitation and contemplation of the stotram can instill inner peace, courage, and resilience, empowering the devotee to face life’s challenges with faith and equanimity. In essence, this stotram conveys that the greatest offerings to God are not material, but love, devotion, surrender, and purity of mind. It is a timeless spiritual tool for anyone seeking protection, healing, and divine guidance, demonstrating that sincere worship transcends rituals and manifests through the power of the heart and mind.
