Śānti Mantrah with meaning 1.ॐ द्यौः शान्तिरन्तरिक्षम् शान्ति पृथिवी शान्तिराषः शान्तिरोषधयः शान्तिः। वनस्पतयः शान्तिर्विश्वेदेवाः शान्ति ब्रह्मा शान्ति सर्वं शान्तिः शान्तिरेव शान्तिः सामा शान्तिरेधि ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ।। १ ।।Om dyauḥ śāntirantariksam šäntiḥ pṛthivī śānti rāpah śāntiroşadhayaḥ śāntih vanaspatayaśśāntirviśve deväḥ śänti brahmā śāntiḥ sarvam šäntiḥ śäntireva śāntiḥ sā mā śäntiredhi Om Säntiḥ śāntih śāntih May peace pervade the sky, the earth, the heaven, the waters, the plants and the forests.May gods ruling over the universe and Lord Brahma bestow upon us peace. May peace be established in this world, and may peace manifest itself everywhere. 2.स्वस्ति प्रजाभ्यः परिपालयन्तां न्यायेन मार्गेण महीं महीशाः । गो ब्राह्मणेभ्यः शुभमस्तु नित्यं समस्त लोकाः सुखिनो भवन्तु ॥ २ ॥ Swasti prajābhyaḥ paripālayantāmnyäyena märgeņa mahīm mahīśāh.Go brahmanebhyaḥ śubhamastu nityam samasta lokāḥ sukhino bhavantuMay auspiciousness be conferred on the kings who rule the earth on principles of justice, and to their subjects so that they are happy and prosperous.May the men of wisdom (Brahmanas) and the cows (representing the animal kingdom) always be blessed with auspiciousness and joy. (In Indian culture, the cows and Brahmanas are held in high esteem because of their absolute selflessness and the good they bestow on society). May all the worlds attain supreme happiness.
