“This temple is not just a place of worship — it’s a sanctuary of divine power and motherly grace.” Architecture of the Temple Built in traditional Kalinga style, the temple features a modest rekha deul (curvilinear tower) over a plain sanctum (garbhagriha), housing a four-armed icon of Chandi (holding Ankusha, Paasha, Abhaya, and Varada). The entrance is ornate, guarded by lions atop elephants, and crowned by the dharma-chakra symbol. The structure uses local stone and includes a courtyard with smaller shrines, typical of Odia temple design.
