This ancient temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peethas, where the ear of Goddess Sati is believed to have fallen. Nestled amidst snow-clad mountains and dense deodar forests, the temple is a spiritual haven and an architectural marvel. Architecture of the Temple The temple showcases a unique blend of Hindu and Tibetan architectural styles. Built in the Kath-Kuni style (wood and stone), it features intricate wooden carvings, layered roofs, and earthquake-resistant design. The complex has two towers: the older one (rarely opened) and the newer one, where the deity is worshipped today.
