Sharada Bhujangam
Sharada Bhujangam सुवक्षोजकुम्भां सुधापूर्णकुम्भां प्रसादावलम्बां प्रपुण्यावलम्बाम् । सदास्येन्दुबिम्बां सदानोष्ठबिम्बां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥१॥Suvakssoja-k͟humbhām Sudhā-Pūrnna-k͟humbhām Prasāda-āvalambām Prapunnya-āvalambām | Sadā-[āa]sye[a-ī]ndu-Bimbām Sadān-ŏssttha-Bimbām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||1||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose beautiful bosom is filled with the pitcher of nectar, inside which rests abundant grace (prasada) and auspiciousness (prapunya), whose face always reflect the beauty of moon, over which her lips always shine like (reddish) bimba fruits, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. कटाक्षे दयार्द्रां करे ज्ञानमुद्रां कलाभिर्विनिद्रां कलापैः सुभद्राम् । पुरस्त्रीं विनिद्रां पुरस्तुङ्गभद्रां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥२॥k͟hattāksse ḍaya-[ā]ardrām k͟hare Jnyāna-ṃudrām k͟halābhir-Vinidrām k͟halāpaih Subhadrām | Pura-Strīm Vinidrām Puras-ṭungga-Bhadrām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||2||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose glance is moist with compassion, and whose hand shows the gyana mudra (gesture of knowledge), who is (ever) wakeful by her arts and ever auspicious by her ornaments, who is the ever awake mother goddess of the town (of Sringeri), the blessed town by the bank of river Tunga, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. ललामाङ्कफालां लसद्गानलोलां स्वभक्तैकपालां यशःश्रीकपोलाम् । करे त्वक्षमालां कनत्प्रत्नलोलां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥३॥l̤alāma-āngka-Phālām l̤asad-ġāna-l̤olām Sva-Bhaktai[a-ĕ]ka-Pālām ẏaśah-ṣrī-k͟hapolām | k͟hare ṭva[u-ā]kssa-ṃālām k͟hanat-Pratna-l̤olām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||3||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose forehead is decorated with a beautiful curved mark, who delights in sacred music, who is the sole refuge of her devotees, who bestows glory and prosperity, who holds the rosary in her hand, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. सुसीमन्तवेणीं दृशा निर्जितैणीं रमत्कीरवाणीं नमद्वज्रपाणीम् । सुधामन्थरास्यां मुदा चिन्त्यवेणीं भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥४॥Su-Sīmanta-Vennīm ḍrśā ṇirjitai[a-ĕ]nnīm ṟamat-k͟hīra-Vānnīm ṇamad-Vajra-Pānnīm | Sudhā-ṃantha-ṟāsyām ṃudā Cintya-Vennīm Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||4||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose neatly parted braided hair conquers all directions, whose parrot-like voice makes Indra bow, who stirs nectar of bliss within contemplation, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. सुशान्तां सुदेहां दृगन्ते कचान्तां लसत्सल्लताङ्गीमनन्तामचिन्त्याम् । स्मतां तापसैः सर्गपूर्वस्थितां तां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥५॥Suśāntām Sudehām ḍrg-ānte k͟haca-āntām l̤asat Sal-l̤atā-[ā]nggīm-ānantām-ācintyām | Smatām ṭāpasaih Sarga-Pūrva-Sthitām ṭām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||5||(Salutations to mother Sharada) who is calm, beautiful, endless and inconceivable, contemplated by ascetics, who existed before creation, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. कुरङ्गे तुरङ्गे मृगेन्द्रे खगेन्द्रे मराले मदेभे महोक्षेऽधिरूढाम् । महत्यां नवम्यां सदा सामरूपां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥६॥k͟hurangge ṭurangge ṃrgendre k͟hhagendre ṃarāle ṃade[a-ī]bhe ṃahoksse-[ā]dhirūddhām | ṃahatyām ṇavamyām Sadā Sāma-ṟūpām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||6||(Salutations to mother Sharada) who rides deer, horse, lion, eagle, swan, elephant and bull, manifesting nine forms yet ever tranquil, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. ज्वलत्कान्तिवह्निं जगन्मोहनाङ्गीं भजन्मानसाम्भोजसुभ्रान्तभृङ्गीम् । निजस्तोत्रसङ्गीतनृत्यप्रभाङ्गी भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥७॥Jvalat-k͟hānti-Vahnim Jagan-ṃohana-ānggīm Bhajan-ṃānasa-āmbhoja-Subhrānta-Bhrnggīm | ṇija-Stotra-Sanggīta-ṇrtya-Prabhānggī Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||7||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose blazing beauty enchants the universe, who wanders like a bee in the lotus of the heart, radiant through hymns, music and dance, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother. भवाम्भोजनेत्राजसम्पूज्यमानां लसन्मन्दहासप्रभावक्त्रचिह्नाम् । चलच्चञ्चलाचारुताटङ्ककर्णां भजे शारदाम्बामजस्रं मदम्बाम् ॥८॥Bhava-āmbhoja-ṇetra-āja-Sampūjyamānām l̤asan-ṃanda-ḥāsa-Prabhā-Vaktra-Cihnām | Calac-Can.calā-Cāru-ṭāttangka-k͟harnnām Bhaje ṣāradā-[āa]mbām-ājasram ṃad-āmbām ||8||(Salutations to mother Sharada) whose lotus-eyes lead beyond worldly existence, whose face glows with a gentle smile, whose ears are adorned with moving, beautiful earrings, I worship mother Sharada, who is my eternal mother.
