Vāstu Süūktam with meaning ओं वास्तौष्पते प्रतिजानी ह्यस्मान्थ्स्वविशो अनमीको भ॑वानः । यत् त्वे॑महे प्रति॒ितन्ननो॑ जुषस्व॒ शं ने एधि द्विपदे में चतु॑ष्पदे ॥ १ ॥Öṁ vāstospatē pratijānī hyasmänthsvävēśō anamivõ bhavānaḥ. Yat tvemahē pratitanno juşasva śaṁ na ēdhi dvipadē śam catúşpadē. Vastoshpati (Lord of building), keep us close to your heart. May this building be our excellent abode which will keep us healthy and free from all diseases. Graciously grant us all that we seek from You; bestow happiness upon us, the residents of this building (both human beings and cattle). वास्तोष्पते शग्मया॑ स॒ं सदति सक्षीमह॑िर॒ण्वर्या गातुमत्यां आव॒ः क्षेम॑ उ॒तयोगे वरं न्नो यूयं पति स्वस्तिभिस्सर्दा नः वास्तॊष्पते प्र॒तर॑णोन एध॒ गोभि॒िरश्वैभिरिन्दो । अ॒जर॑सस्ने स॒ख्येस्या॑म पि॒तेव॑ पु॒त्रान् प्रति॑िनो जुषस्व ।। २ ।।Vāstospatē śagmaya sagam sadatē sakşīmahiranvaya gātumatyä. Āvaḥ kṣēma utayōgē varam nnō yūyam påta svastibhissada nah. Västöspate prataránōna ēdhi gōbhiraśvebhirindo. Ajarasastē sakhyēsyama pitēva putrān pratinō juşasva. O Vastoshpati, shower Your blessings on us so that we are always happy and prosperous. Safeguard our wealth all that is present today and all that we may earn in future. अमीवहा वास्तोष्पते विश्वा रूपाण्या विशन् । सखो मुझे एधिनः । शिवं शिवम् । शुभं शुभम् ।। ३ ।।Amīvahā vāstospatē viśvā rūpāņya viśan. Sakha suiêu edhinah. Śivagam śivam. Subhagam śubham. O Vastoshpati, preserve and augment our wealth along with our cattle and horses. (During Vedic times, cattle and horses constituted a prominent part of wealth). May You always love us like a father; be friendly to us and bestow upon us good health and bliss. May auspiciousness prevail.
