Mantra Puşpam with meaning 1.ॐ योऽपां पुष्पं वेद॑ । पुष्प॑वान् प्रजावाँन् पशुमान् भ॑वति । चन्द्रमा॒ वा अ॒पां पुष्पम् । पुष्प॑वान् प्रजावाँन् पशुमान् र्भवति ॥१॥.Yopām puspam veda. Puspavan prajāvănpašumān bhavatiCandramă vă apām puspam. Puspavān prajāvānpašumān bhavatiWhen one knows the secrets of waters and flowers, one’s heart blossoms and he becomes rich in progeny and cattle. When one knows the sacred and mysterious relation among the moon, the waters and the flowers, once heart blossoms and he becomes rich in progeny and cattle.(Succeeding stanzas are based on the truth of creation that from the Atma or self first emerge the sky. From sky came air; from the air, the fire; from the fire, the water; and from the water emerge the earth. The source of all the elements is the one Atma.) 2. य एवं वेद॑ । यर्योऽपामा॒यत॑नं॒ वेद॑ । आ॒यत॑नवान् भवति । अग्निर्वा अ॒पामायत॑नम् । आयत॑नवान् भवति । यौऽग्नेरा॒यत॑नं वेद॑ । आ॒यत॑नवान् भवति । आयो॒ वा अ॒ग्नेरा॒यत॑नम् । आ॒यत॑नवान् भवति । य एवं वेद॑ ।। २ ॥Ya evam veda. Yo’pāmāyatanam veda. Ayatanavān bhavati. Agnirvā apāmāyatanam. Ayatanavān bhavati. Yo’ gnerāyatanam veda. Ayatanavān bhavati. Apovā agnerāyatanam. Ayatanavān bhavati. Ya evam veda. One who knows the source of water, attains the supreme abode of water. One who knows the origin of water and fire attains their abode. One who knows the source of fire, attains the supreme abode. One who knows the sacred relationship of water and fire shall attain their ultimate abode (i.e. Ätma). 3. योऽपामायतनं वेदं । आयतनवान् भवति । वायुर्वा अपामायत॑नम् । आयत॑नवान् भवति । यो बायोरावर्तनं वेदे । आयर्तनवान् भवति ।। आयो॒ वै वायोरा॒यत॑नम् । आयत॑नवान् भवति । य एवं वेदं ।। ३ ॥Yo pămáyatanam veda. Ayatanavăn bhavati, Vayurva apāmāyatanam. Ayatanavan bhavati. Yo vayorayatanam veda. Ayatanavan bhavati. Apo vai vāyo rayatanam. Ayatanavān bhavati. One who knows the source of air, attains the supreme abode. Ayatanavän bhavati. Asau vai tapannapāmāyatanam. Ayatanavān bhavati. Yo musya tapata ayatanam veda. Ayatanavän bhavati. Apo vă amusya tapata ayatanam. evam veda.One who knows the source of water, attains the supreme abode of water. One who knows the origin of water and the moon attains their abode. One who knows the source of the moon, attains the supreme. 5. भवति । आपो वै संवत्स॒रस्या॒यत॑नम् । आ॒यत॑नवान् भवति । य एवं वेदं ॥८॥Ayatanavān bhavati. Samvatsaro va apāmāyatanam Ayatanavan bhavati. Yassamvatsarasyäyatanam veda. Ayatanavān bhavati. Apo vai samvatsarasyä yatanam. Ayatanavān bhavati. Ya evam veda.One who knows that all the worlds stay like the boat on waters, (one who knows that water is the basis of life in all the worlds) attains the supreme abode. According to Bhagavān Baba the water of life is love. Therefore, love is the origin of everything, and one who knows love, attains the highest divine abode. 6.यौऽप्सु नावं प्रति॑िष्ठितां वेद॑ । प्रत्येव ति॑िष्ठति ।। ९ ॥ Yo’psu nāvam pratisthitam veda. Pratyeva tisthati.We salute Vaiśravana, the king of kings who takes away the wealth of those with whom he is not pleased. We pray to Vaiśravana, the fulfiller of desires, to grant us all our desires.We again salute the emperor Vaiśravana, who is none but Kubera himself (the lord of wealth).
