प्रत्यालीढपदां सदैव दधतीं छिन्नं शिरःकर्त्तृकां ।
दिग्वस्त्रां स्वकबन्धशोणितसुधाधारां पिबन्तीं मुदा ॥
नगाबद्धशिरोमणिं त्रिनयनां हृद्युत्पलालंकृतां ।
रत्यांसक्तमनोभवोपरि दृढां ध्यायेज्जपासन्निभाम् ॥

Pratyaaliiddha-Padaam Sadai[aa-E]va Dadhatiim Chinnam Shirah-Karttrkaam |
Dig-Vastraam Sva-Kabandha-Shonnita-Sudhaa-Dhaaraam Pibantiim Mudaa ||
Naga-[A]abaddha-Shiro-Mannim Tri-Nayanaam Hrdy[i]-Utpala-Alangkrtaam |
Ratyaa-[Aa]sakta-Mano-Bhavo[a-U]pari Drddhaam Dhyaayej-Japaa-Sannibhaam ||

Meaning:
1: (I meditate on Devi Chinnamasta) Who is standing with Her left Foot extended forward and right Foot drawn back; And always holding a severed Head and a Sword;
2: Who is clothed by the directions; And (Whose severed Head) is joyfully drinking the nectar of blood flowing down from Her own Headless Trunk,
3: Who is having a Gem on Her Head which is bound by a Serpent; Who has three Eyes; And Whose Heart is adorned with Lotus,
4: Who is firmly standing above the tendencies of the mind to love attachments of the World (symbolized by a couple engaged in amorous love play) (signifying Her transcendental nature beyond the World); Who is to be meditated upon as having the bright Red colour similar to Hibiscus flower (due to blood streaming out).

दक्षे चातिसिताविमुक्तचिकुरा कर्तृंस्तथा खर्परं ।
हस्ताभ्यां दधती रजोगुणभवो नाम्नापिसा वर्णिनी ॥
देव्याश्छिन्नकबन्धतः पतदसृग्धारां पिबन्तीं मुदा ।
नागाबद्धशिरोमणिर्म्मनुविदा ध्येय सदा सा सुरैः ॥

Daksse Ca-Ati-Sitaa-Vimukta-Cikuraa Kartrs-Tathaa Kharparam |
Hastaabhyaam Dadhatii Rajo-Gunna-Bhavo Naamnaa-[A]pi-Saa Varnninii ||
Devyaash-Chinna-Kabandhatah Patad-Asrg-Dhaaraam Pibantiim Mudaa |
Naaga-[A]abaddha-Shiro-Mannir-Manu-Vidaa Dhyeya Sadaa Saa Suraih ||

Meaning:
1: On Her right (is a Yogini) Who is bright White in colour; Whose Hair is set loose; And Who is holding a Sword and a Skull …
2: … in Her Hands; Who is having the disposition of Rajaguna and Who is named as Varini,
3: Who is joyfully drinking the blood flowing down from the Headless Trunk of the Devi,
4: Who is having a Gem on Her Head which is bound by a Serpent; Who is the knower of Manu (probably pointing to Kundalini); And Who is meditated upon by the Devas.

वामे कृष्णतनूस्तथैव दधती खंगं तथा खर्परं ।
प्रत्यालीढपदाकबन्धविगलद्रक्तं पिबन्ती मुदा ॥
सैषा या प्रलये समस्तभूवनं भोक्तुं क्षमा तामसी ।
शक्तिः सापि परात् परा भगवती नाम्ना परा डाकिनी ॥

Vaame Krssnna-Tanuus-Tathai[aa-E]va Dadhatii Khangam Tathaa Kharparam |
Pratyaaliiddha-Padaa-Kabandha-Vigalad-Raktam Pibantii Mudaa ||
Sai[aa-E]ssaa Yaa Pralaye Samasta-Bhuuvanam Bhoktum Kssamaa Taamasii |
Shaktih Saa-[A]pi Paraat Paraa Bhagavatii Naamnaa Paraa Ddaakinii ||

Meaning:
1: On Her left (is a Yogini) Whose form is Black; Who is holding a Khanga (Khaddga) and a Skull,
2: Who is standing with Her left Foot extended forward and right Foot drawn back; Who is joyfully drinking the blood flowing down from the Headless Trunk of the Devi,
3: She Who during the dissolution swallows the entire World; Who is the darkness of Night,
4: She Who is the transcendental power; She is the transcendental Goddess named Dakini.
