Khatu Shyam Temple

History:

The Khatu Shyam Ji Temple is located in the small village of Khatu in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, India. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shyam, who is believed to be the incarnation of Barbarik, a great warrior from the epic Mahabharata and a manifestation of Lord Krishna. About the Temple: Barbarik’s head was buried in the village of Khatu, where the temple now stands as a major pilgrimage site. The temple is famous for its grand celebrations during festivals like Phalgun Mela and Ekadashi. Millions of devotees visit every year to seek blessings, believing that Khatu Shyam Ji fulfills their prayers and performs miracles.
